I can't believe the bartender actually let us do it...

Here's a quick recap of last night.

Start at Crobar, it's a club, dancers on podiums and shit. Very fun.
We're all drinking, Marynowski has 1 vodka and tonic, 1 double vodka and tonic, and a beer.

An hour later we leave, and head to Martini Park. Billed as "A playground for grownups" it's much less clubby than Crobar, but still fun and still a slightly more well-to-do crowd than most bars in Chicago. We're all drinking. Marynowski has 2 more double vodka and tonics.

45 minutes after being at Martini Park, we leave, only this time we don't just "step down" we go straight for the bottom-of-the-barrel... The Big City Tap, affectionately known as The Big Shitty Tap. This place is dirty and cheap, but it's open til 5am. We're all drinking. Marynowski has 2 beers and a shot of whiskey.

An argument occurs: "I bet I could finish that bottle of Jaegermeister" - Marynowski.

The others didn't believe it.

The bartender actually granted our request, and poured out the remainder of the bottle into shot glasses 1 by 1, until all jaegermeister had been poured. 11 shots lined up in a row. And the bartender seemed to see no problem with this. One by one Marynowski downed the shots, only taking a small break in between the last few. In all it took about a minute to take all 11.

15 minutes later he was ROCKED got him home, should have gone to the hospital I suppose, throwing up all night, slept until 6pm.

How long can you continue to pretend you are in college?

I try to avoid the whole "growing up" bullshit. I don't have a family, for the most part I just have to worry about being responsible enough to keep my job. I enjoy having fun, and intend on living my life that way. I'll eventually slow down, but I'm having a blast doing things the way I am.

Yeah, most of my co-workers think that I am ridiculous when we go out, but they love the shenanigans. But whatever, I'm definitely the youngest of my crew, that could be a large part of it. Most of the people I hang out with are 27-33 or so. And yeah, the extra money part is definitely nice. I don't live lavishly by any means, but not worrying about money at all is extremely nice.
