I'm posting this in the jibberish thread because I was doing some deep thinking tonight and this is just some thought that came to mind that I decided to post about since it pertains to Nubblies. As I was browsing through Nubblies it occured to me, could Nubblies actually be good for our brains?
Let's think about it for a little bit. While we're on Nubblies we are reading and writing. I think it's safe to assume that any kind of reading and writing is good for your brain. Also while on Nubblies, (most of us) strive to use proper grammar and spelling in our posts. Everyone could use all the practice they can get in those two areas because both are valuable tools in life. Not only that, but it could go even further than simply being good for your mind. A good portion of time on Nubblies is spent typing. Time spent on Nubblies is time spent becoming a better typist, which of course is another valuable tool to have in life. I know this may sound sad, but I get alot of my news from the Nubblies News forum. Wow, the more you think about it, the better Nubblies really is. On the other hand, I guess we could all be doing something better with our time, like studying for school or learning something. So it could be more of a time waster than a mind enhancer. So what do you think about all that? Just a bunch bullshit? Is Nubblies a time waster or a mind enhancer? I think it's better for us than it is worse. The way I see it, if I wasnt posting on nubblies, my next alternative usually isn't studying in the first place anyways, i'd probably be watching Tv or playing a video game or something...so I definitely thin it's good for your brain. I, too, get most of my news off of Nubblies...and I often find I know about it before most of my other roommates who spend a decent time watching TV.

Psychedelics are illegal not because a loving government is concerned that you may jump out of a third story window. Psychedelics are illegal because they dissolve opinion structures and culturally laid down models of behavior and information processing.
