I was just sitting here in a friend's dorm room talking, and I realized how thankful I really am for this message board. We were talking about how different college is from highschool, and she said she rarely talks to her friends from last year. If it weren't for Nubblies, I probably wouldn't be able to stay in contact with as many people as I do. Some of my best friends from last year, who aren't Nubblies members, I rarely talk to. And when I say rarely, I mean I talked to one of them for the first time in about three months, last night, and she was one of my best friends.

But thanks to Nubblies, I've been able to stay in contact with a lot of people that I really care about and miss.

So this thanksgiving, I'm thankful for Nubblies, and I'm thankful for Orgazmo for creating it.

What are you thankful for?

As of now? I'm only thankful for the fact that I'm one more year closer to the end. But who knows, I have another week or so. Things could change.

This is a tough one. But I'll be a good sport and play along:

</font>
  • The fact that I live in America and can basically do whatever the hell I want. I know this is a real defacto answer here, but I really do mean it. When you think about how good we have it in this country, it really makes you appreciate living here. Our biggest problem is bitching about how our military is kicking the shit out of some other shitty-military's ass. Big fucking deal, I'd rather have that as a 'problem' than be wondering where my next meal is coming from.</font>
  • My friends. I don't have a sea of them or anything, but the ones I do have, I would not trade for the world, they're the best people walking this Earth.</font>
  • Nubblies.net ...this may seem like a lame almost expected answer, but think about it, what would your life be like without Nubblies? You probably wouldn't have as many friends as you do, or at least not be as close to the friends you have. I can name some people (BigDongedHoe, Dirty Harry, Trout Sniffer, StabMaster Arson, victim, Lethal) that I would most likely not be friends with at all, if it weren't for this site. I came to know them on here, then became better friends with them by hanging out with them, I doubt I would've hung out with them if I hadn't bumped into them on here.</font>
  • I'm thankful that I'm not a fuck. A fuck? Yes, a fuck. A fuck who completely neglects the good in his life to only bring out the bad. A fuck who constantly seeks attention through negative sources simply because he's afraid his positive qualities aren't enough to get a legitimate response from anyone. A fuck who throws the lemons that life delivers away, instead of making a nice pitcher of lemonade. I'm thankful that I'm not a complete fuck.</font>
  • I'm thankful for not being dumb. Like, I know I'm not a very smart guy or anything, but I know a lot of people who are as dumb as a box of rocks. Anytime I'm around them, I'm thankful that I'm not as dumb as they are.</font>
  • I'm thankful that I'm not fat anymore. </font>
  • I'm thankful that sim started this thread...it was fun.</font>
Try it.

I'm thankful for every single new opportunity and privilege that is granted me in life. I'm thankful for the feeling of knowing and loving. I'm thankful for feeling. I'm thankful for the people who aren't around who happen to think of me sometimes. I'm thankful for the past that has made me what I am today. I'm thankful for the future that will make me different than what I am today. I'm thankful for creativity that inspires. I'm grateful for personality. I'm thankful for Nubblies and speaking.

I'm thankful. You know how it is.

I'm thankful for my ingenuity and determination. Without these two things I would be a wreck and a mess at all times. Life throws me a curve ball at least once every two weeks yet I have the ability to overcome it. What doesn't kill me will only make me stronger, I guess.

Things I'm thankful for:

1. Music. If I didn't have music in my life I don't think I'd be around to post this here message. Music is my passion and a reason to wake up in the mornings.

2. My friends. A friend is someone who knows of all your faults, and likes you nonetheless. I'm lucky to have friends like that.

3. Microsoft Solitaire. Without this blessed program, I'd probably have spent over half of my teenage years staring at a wall, god bless Microsoft Solitaire.

4. Nubblies.net. Yes, that's right. When there's no one on icq, and it's two o'clock in the morning. What else could keep me glued to the screen. That's right, nubblies. I may not know everyone on here. It's strange how much it has had an effect on me though, I'll be in an argument with someone in person, and I'll end up referring back to points that people have made in threads on nubblies. That is neat, and for that, I am thankful.

5. Religion. I'm not religous, and I no longer proclaim to necesarily be a christian. However, I was, and still am, being raised in a christian home. Without these values surrounding me, what else would I have to argue with youth pastors about?

That is all.

  • That I have the ability to see and comprehend the problems I possess, and usually the foresight and capacity to fix them.</font>
  • The concept of art, the thing that keeps me sane.</font>
  • The fact that I have parents that have always encouraged me.</font>
  • My wife, bless her heart.</font>
  • The very small amount of real friends I have and the times we have and will share.</font>
  • Nubblies. I'd probably still be in bed right now if it weren't for Nubblies... wait a tick...</font>
  • My five senses, oh how they enhance life so greatly, and so subtly.</font>
  • Dictionary.com, so I can figure out how to spell words like "subtly"</font>
  • The edit button on Nubblies, so I can come back and add more after my 3 hour art class.</font>
  • Weather.com, so I don't go outside without a jacket like I almost did.</font>

I'm thankful for:

-My family, especially my parents for all the love and support they have always shown me... and for at least trying to be sympathetic to everything I'm going through
-All my friends who will be waiting for me with open arms when i come home next week
-The talents and abilities God has given me to use for Him
-Everybody who serves our great country, and more importantly those who are still fighting and dying right now for something they may not even understand

I'm thankful for life itself without which I wouldn't be here. I'm thankful for my friends because they help me through everything and even help me with things I can't talk to my parents about. I'm thankful for the internet, because without it, I'd never have anything to do on school nights. I'm thankful for my parents, because they created me. I'm thankful for my dogs because no matter how many times I yell at them or punish them, they always come back when no one else does. I'm thankful for this website, because it too provides me with entertainment, and has made me some new friends. I'm thankful for art and writing because it helps me express myself.
