Pliedes,
check this out

I'd like to start by apologizing for my lack of explanation on my previous message that made is seem as though I 100% support partial-birth abortions. Pliedes, the point I was trying to make was: How can you decide for sure that a person is a bad candidate when his views on one type of abortion are not the same as yours. Partial Birth abortions, or D&X, acount for less than half of one percent of all abortions. My main point is that I'd rather see what the man's views on the other 99.5% of abortions are before I say that he's a bad candidate. I'm not saying that that is what victim did, because he gave numerous others reasons for not liking John Kerry, all of them valid. Maybe I'm just another "baby killing" pro-choice bitch, but that's the way I see it.

Which is why I didn't base my argument on that premise alone. I'm opposed to abortion, and partial-birth is particularly gruesome. I'm not radical enough just to base my support on candidates simply on this one issue, but it plays a factor.

VOL: The crux is the main point.

get off my internet!!!

This, however, does not change the procedure:
The cervix is dilated. The "abortion specialist" reaches into the cervix with a pair of forceps and pulls the fetus out by the leg to the point where only the head is still inside the mother. Also, let it be noted that at this point, if the baby's head was pulled out of the cervix it would qualify as a "true human being" and would upgrade the "abortion" to murder. The abortion specialist then stabs the baby in the back of the head with a large needle. As if this were not bad enough, he then vacuums out the baby's brain.

I don't really care if it is used for a sixteenth of a half of less than one percent. Anyone who would endorse such a thing is not cut out to be the President of our country.

Yeah, so while I'm against partial-birth abortion, let's not let this thread become it's playground. If someone feels strongly enough about it, start a new thread for it...

Everytime I read the title of this thread, or hear the word Caucus on TV, I can't help but chuckle a little bit to myself.
