I believe it is a wonderful day in America. Today John Kerry selected John Edwards as his running mate for the 2004 presidential election. I think I have made it clear over the past several months, and with this thread, on who I support. I hope these two get the job done and get into the White House where they prosper and make America better!

Too bad that the Johns like each other about as much as the Red Sox like the Yankees. Did you notice that Edwards wasn't even at the function in Pittsburgh when Kerry announced his running mate? I sure did.

Besides, this whole platform was undermined because Kerry wanted John McCain to be his running partner, and McCain basically told Kerry to shove it.

If Kerry could have gotten McCain, he might have had a chance, but now, he doesn't.
