I figure someone is bound to post something like this and I might as well start it now, seeing that I can't wait to hear what everyone thinks and their takes on the NFL are this year. This year is by far the most open it's ever been, there aren't just 3 or 4 contenders this year. If you look at it, every team in the playoffs will have a good chance of taking the championship home. Here's my predictions by Divisions as to who will win their respective ones, in no certain order.

AFC
----------------------------------------
AFC East
Why not start with the hardest decision? Deciding who will take the AFC East is by far the toughest prediction seeing that every team could take it (except Buffalo).

My pick?: The Miami Dolphins - No one will be able to rack up any type of points at all, seeing that they have now signed Junior Seau to assist Taylor on D. Oh and the minor fact they have the best rusher this season <--- another prediction.

AFC North
While I'm tempted to say that the Steelers the result of this division is clear.

My pick?: The Baltimore Ravens - these guys have a damn good chance of making another run at the Super Bowl. Does that suprise you? It shouldn't, they used a lot of empty cap room to boost not just their famous defence but also their offence. Keep an eye out for the Ravens.

AFC South
This is a hard decision for me. The Titans and Colts will battle this out until the end of the season. It will come down to who can win the matchups between the two.

My pick?: The Indianapolis Colts - While they choke in the postseason they can get it done every year in the regular season. Watch for these guys to take their amazing turnaround on D and improve to become on of the top 5 defences in the leauge. Oh yeah, I almost forgot to say, Manning will throw or another 4,000 yards... again.

AFC West
The Raiders are the most obvious pick in this league, but I feel any team from this division has a chance to take it... Here's the big upset of the regular season.

My pick?: The San Diego Chargers - LT will carry this team on his back and no one will be able to attack San Diego's secondary. This division will go down to the last week of play, much like the AFC East of last year.

AFC Wildcard Recipients
There's more spots to be filled. But who will earn them? I know who.

My picks?: The Titans and the Raiders. Both teams will only be one game back of those who clinched their division. Watch for this year to produce a Wild Card team win the Superbowl.

Will Philly take this division, or will the Giants be able to overcome them? The answer is easy to discover.

My pick?: The Philadephia Eagles- While they lost Douglas on defence, they still remain one of the best in the league. Look for them to stop the ball well like always and look for Mcnabb to come up big all year.

NFC North
3 of the worst teams in the leauge and one mildly decent one. This is by far the easiest choice, if I'm not right it will only be because of divine inspiration or another Super Bowl Shuffle with voodoo powers.

My pick?: The Green Bay Packers - Brett Farve is getting old, but as with wine... Well not really but he'll have a great year and watch for Ahman Green to explode this year. He'll rack up career numbers in 2003.

No Need to introduce this pick at all. It's simple, and it's also set in stone.

My pick?: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers - No team is going to touch them in this division. I predict that they will end the regular season either with or tied for the best record in the NFL.

One of the tougher decisions. I'm actually going to result for a coin flip on this one. Heads the 49ers take it. Tails, the Rams make a comeback.

Result of the flip?: Heads, The San Fransisco 49ers - I'll stand by the prediction, unless Terrell Owens is assassinated. Though I don't know what the 49ers have in store on defence at all.

NFC Wildcard Recipients
Not to many teams to choose from to be honest. But I know who will get the honors.

My picks?: The Giants and The Rams. Why pick these teams? Becasue you know they'll make the postseason and so do you. I wouldn't be fully suprised if the Giants choke this year though.

AFC Champions: The Miami Dolphins
NFC Champions: The Tampa Bay Bucs

Super Bowl Winner???
The Miami Dolphins, by a touchdown.

Nice predictions, the only predictions I'd have would be that the Seahawks will surprise everyone, and that Priest Holmes will be the leading rusher of the year.

Other than that, very nice Alpha, you thought this out pretty thoroughly.

Not bad Alpha, however I am a Patriots fan.. so I don't agree with the dolphins from the east... but they probably will take the east.

MY PICKS:
AFC EAST- Miami Dolphins- Ricky Williams, Zach Thomas, Jason Taylor, Jr. Seau.. need I say more.

AFC SOUTH- Colts- while they have been terrible lately I think they will be solid now that Edgerrin James is back running the football. This prevents an over-doing of Manning to Harrison.

AFC NORTH- I'm going with Pittsburg .. Tommy Maddox knows what he's doing there.

AFC WEST- Broncos... Clinton Portis will tear it up
