So season 4 of Breaking Bad starts July 17th also. This is going to be a summer full of good TV!
Let's get a quick recap of the upcoming (or just started) shows to watch this summer: June 23, Burn Notice - Airs on Thursdays. Definitely started a little slow in my opinion. I was supremely disappointed with it. Hopefully it gets back up to speed. Also, for Burn Notice fans, there's a loooong "episode" that came out a few months before this season started called "The Fall of Sam Axe". I thought it was pretty god damn boring, but you may like it. June 26, True Blood - Airs on Sundays. I was pretty excited to watch the premiere of this show. I really enjoyed it. I love how so much shit changed. Very exciting. July 10, Curb Your Enthusiasm - Airs on Sundays. This show is awesome and always will be. Not much else to say about it. July 17, Breaking Bad - Airs on Sundays. I just finished season 3 a few days ago. This show is awesome. But, I fucking HATE Skyler White and Jesse Pinkman. Fuck them both. Huge cliffhanger at the end of season 3. July 24, Entourage - Airs on Sundays. This is the final season. I'm probably the least excited about this show. I've gone through my Entourage phase and the show just doesn't do it for me. Don't get me wrong, it's a good show and I'll watch it. I figured I should probably mention Rescue Me will be premiering for its final season, and The Marriage Ref will also start. I will not be watching either one of these shows. I gave Rescue me a try several years ago. It's not bad. But, again, there were/are better shits to watch. |

HBO is running a documentary called "Hot Coffee" that shows some of the tort reform in the last couple of decades. Nothing I'm not all too familiar with. It's definitely a worth the 90 minutes to check out.
A review:'Hot Coffee' review: HBO documentary finds big grounds for liability If you have HBO you can watch it on line here: HBO GO. It's HBO. Anywhere. If you're a broke ass nigger or just lazy, pm me your address and I'll burn a copy and mail it to you. |

Just finished seasons 1 and 2 (season 3 starts this fall) of The League. There were definitely a solid 1-2 huge LOL moments per episode. Highly recommended to any of you who play fantasy sports and/or any of who you are fond of Seinfeld; the show has a lot of similarities format-wise to Seinfeld imo.

I finished season 7 of Entourage tonight. Between them tanking Vince's career, face, and likability and Ari's wife (maybe somewhat unreasonably?!) ditching him, it was pretty tough to take. Entourage generally gives you a fun, good feeling. This season and this finale were very dark.

Why the fuck do we have to accept whatever-the-fuck-his-name-is E's co-agent with his stupid face as "one of the crew"? It should be the Vince, E, Drama, Turtle, Ari, and sometimes Billy Walsh. I keep hoping for him to say "Vince, remember that time we were back in New York and..." and then E suckerpunches him.

I have to agree with kremlin on this one. Sure, I have nothing against the new guy. He doesn't particularly annoy me that much, but who the fuck is he? He just came out of left field and now is part of the crew. They tried doing that shit with Dom (except he was from NY too) and I hated him. On a positive note, I hated Dom way more than this new guy.

Eastbound and Down is an amazing show. I've watched all but the finale of season 2 and have loved it. Every episode seems so well made. Kenny Powers is one of my favorite TV characters ever.

I enjoy a little bit of Eastbound and Down, but when I try to force myself to more then 2 episodes in one sitting, I start banging my head into the wall and sniffing glue.

I'm almost finished with Deadwood, which I can say hands down is the best television show I've ever seen. I can't, for the life of me, understand why those cocksucking motherfuckers at hbo canceled the show after only 3 glorious seasons. It makes me feel sick.
