Want to hear some more ridiculous bullshit about my life? Apparently I'm allergic to dogs.

I want to get a dog from the shelter when I go home/get settled. More than anything. I care more about getting a dog than I do about keeping a job and/or girlfriend.

And whatever I get, I'll probably be allergic to. Even though I've

had dogs my entire fucking life

.

If anybody wonders why I'm so hardcore about atheism, things like this are a large portion of it. No loving god would give mankind allergies to his best friend.

(I know there are hypoallergenic dogs, but I would be hard pressed to find a shelter one.)

If you get a dog that doesn't shed much, I highly doubt your allergies will be a problem. I'm allergic to cats, and I had five of them living in my house at once. I think I conquered my allergies. I rarely have the vicious sneezing attacks that I used to have. I only have one cat now, but no allergies.

Blonde, I suggest not getting a dog until you think you've landed in one spot you don't plan to be leaving that much. Having a dog can be a pain in the ass at times, but overall I'd say it's worth it **as long as you're okay with not ever traveling very much**.

I agree 100% with that. I think that you should have that mindset before getting any real animal, though. Sure, a cat is easy to take care of and leave alone for 24 hours, but the point of uneasy travel stands.

In short, if you're going to get a real animal, you shouldn't do it until you're settled. And, if you're going to get a real animal, you should get a dog.

This is like watching a caring, socially conscious gay couple counsel their angsty, adopted teenage son who just moved out of the house about the responsibilities of owning a dog.

You can travel with a dog, it just depends on the type of travel. From what I've gathered, Blonde is more the type to go on camping/hiking/nature adventures, in which case it would be totally okay to bring a dog. Actually, it would be preferable to bring a dog in many cases, imo.

The boy had to live for over a year without his bird.

So I borrowed an orange t-shirt from my roommate (The Summarizer). It's really bright orange. It's cotton, but not too thick. Then again not superthin, like I like my t-shirts. The Summarizer is pretty skinny but luckily the t-shirt fits me GREAT! When he first told me about this shirt I was worried that the neck would be too low, and my chest hair would stick out. But he told me that no, the neck wasn't that low. So then I was worried the neck would be too tight. Great news. It's not. The story of how The Summarizer got this shirt is that there was this indoor soccer place in Missouri, and the people who WORKED THERE had a team, and they were orange. Well he didn't work there, but some of his friends did, and he got to play on the team sometimes. So he got the shirt. Also recently the shirt was cleaned by the recently fired Dry-Clean Al. I'm really excited, I wanted to wear it today but I'm saving it.
