My parents decided it would be a good idea to have the bathrooms repaired one week before I take the CPA exam. It's not easy to study while a shower is being ripped out from the wall. I'm probably going to have to reschedule it now. This sucks because the AICPA has blacked out the month of September for taking the test. Now I will have to wait until October 1 before I can take the first section of the exam (I'm currently scheduled to take it August 31).

Going to the library is a fucking miserable, soul-crushing experience. The place is fucking gigantic, but there are stupid fucking kids everywhere being just as loud as these guys are in my house. If I want to take a break, even to just take a piss, I have to pack all my shit up in my bag (laptop, books, calculator paper, etc) to go and do this. Not to mention the fact that I have to fucking walk there.

No, fuck the library.

I still might take the exam next Wednesday, but I'm just afraid that I'm not fully prepared for it. I really can't afford to fail. This shit isn't free to take, not by a long shot.

There are ways around this. I'm with FC, just sounds like excuses. I'm with you; I am delaying taking the GRE this fall and i'll probably do horribly. But I won't make an excuse like "the library is too loud".

Yes it is an excuse. I didn't think it was that lame, but maybe it is. The real reason is simply that I've been playing video games all summer instead of studying. I don't think a week of studying is enough. I don't want to fail since this section alone costs $950 to take. I just wish September wasn't a blacked out month.
