Are you liable for the $400?
How did it happen? |

Psychedelics are illegal not because a loving government is concerned that you may jump out of a third story window. Psychedelics are illegal because they dissolve opinion structures and culturally laid down models of behavior and information processing.

After they determine the charges are fraud, they'll be reversed. Im pretty sure it happened at a local liquor store. I was returning a lottery scratcher or something and not really paying attention. I recalled way after the fact that someone had made a weird comment about and got closer to me to take a look at what I was doing. I probably ha my wallet on the counter or something. Two charges were made at that store so I'm guessing that's where it happened. Getting the new cards and ID is almost as bad as the $400 would have been.

That really blows. Sorry to hear it. I got my wallet nicked in Barcelona once. Lost around 400 euros, all cards, driver's license, etc. Basically everything but my passport. My solution to this? Stop carrying a wallet. Haven't used one in 5 years. Don't miss it.

I stuff my cash (if I decide to leave the house with any), cards (only the ones I decide to leave the house with), and ID in my pocket next to my keys. If I happen to be in possession of a pack of gum at that moment, I'll often stick the cards in the pack of gum. 1,500+ incident free days and counting.

Been rocking a slim clip for years now:
![]() It's a money clip with a card holder (holds about 8 cards) and is still as tight today as it was when I got it. |

![]() The basis of our governments being the opinion of the people, the very first object should be to keep that right; and were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers, or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter. But I should mean that every man should receive those papers and be capable of reading them. ![]() |

Front wallet is good for not getting pickpocketed, but doesn't really help absentmindedness. I tend to be pretty spacey and set shit down and then forget about it.

I forgot that I almost got pickpocketed on new year's eve. I was at a casino trying to push my way through a WAY overcrowded section and felt someone tug at my pocket and reached back in time to feel a hand, but there were thirty people standing there so no way to tell who.

RotD: Flowers. They're ridiculous. They last like 4-5 days and are retarded as shit. Girls "love" them, but what they really love, is the idea behind them. The idea still costs me like $50, and that's only because I made a point of boycotting actual florists and now buy exclusively from grocery stores. Otherwise they'd be nearer to $100 for similar arrangements. I hate buying them, but it has become a necessity in my life during certain times of the year.
That being said, I spent about $400 less on my significant other than she spent on me this year, so I guess this is just a rant on principle. |

Flowers are never a necessity. Buy a $5 box of Valentine's Day greeting cards and write a reason you love her inside each one. Give her the cards sporadically throughout the day. Ten times more memorable, romantic, and cheaper than flowers.

Or you could just meet a girl that is cool enough to disregard valentines day all together ...
