Sale is a noun meaning the act of selling

Sell is a verb meaning to sell, or exchange something for money or other goods.

The phrase "I could care less" is actually intended to mean "I couldn't care less" but this doesn't mean that the speaker has incorrectly used the phrase.

It's an idiomatic expression, idiot.

I'm guessing it doesn't really matter in this case. The week you're referring to both ended and is ending on the date you're giving (depending on how you look at it).

But, fwiw, if you google "Week Ending" there are 4.6m results whereas "Week Ended" has 356k. "Ending" seems to be much more popular.
