After school today, Yotter and I stopped by Reneker's to look into custom shirts. First of all, we can't have a logo on the front that looks like the Nubblies logo. The reason for this is that they only have specific colors can't can't blend it that well. Along with this, they don't have a real yellow. The closest thing is "Valley Gold," which we looked at on the way out. I think it'd work. It's very comparable to the darker parts of the logo up top.

With that said, the best that we'll be able to do is have "The Nubblites" written out in gold lettering on a black shirt. Our names (whatever you want it to be, of course) will be on the back along with whatever number you feel fit. On a sidenote, Yotter calls #12.

The price for such a task is reasonable. The setup cost is $20.00 + $3.00 per shirt to put the shit on the front. Since there are 9 players total, that would mean the shirts alone will cost $27.00 + the $20.00 setup fee = $47.00 total, to be shared by all ($5.25 each).

Along with the standard $5.25 for each person, each letter on the back of the shirt will cost $.25 and each number will cost $1.00.

Example: The back said "Johnny Sexblaster" and you had #82, that would cost $6.00 extra [(16 letters * $.25) + (2 letters * $1.00) = $6.00].

Nieter was in there getting shirts for the Boomba-Heys (might as well be called the Boomba-Gays), and she said that they got 7 orders yesterday so they might not be able to get his in. In the end, she said they should have their's by Sunday...but it would be close. What's that mean? Well, it means that we need to get on the ball to have shirts for the first game.

An Idea that I had:

What if we were to purchase the T-Shirt iron on kits to use for the front logo. That way, we could have an exact copy with the colors and shit (so it would look just like the logo that you see in the top left, but it'd say "The Nubblites" <i could make it yellower as well, if you all desired> ). Yotter suggest that I talk to Woody because, as I was told, his brother is a known dabbler in homeade t-shirts. What type of quality can we expect from the iron on shit (quality, both visually and durability-wise)?

Another question that I didn't get around to asking: What all will be necessary to take in to get "The Nubblites" written in the Alfred Drake font? Can we just print it off how we want it on a piece of paper and let those sexbears take care of the rest? I really don't know anything about this, so if any of you do, go ahead and put your info into the community barrel.

Yeah, go ahead and reply what you think we should do (in regards to Iron-On front/Reneker's back OR letting Reneker's take care of it all).

Allow me to share the tale of how we received our shirts last year:

Trent Stamper had LeMasters for whatever class LeMasters teaches, in which there is a silk-screener in the room.

He designed the logo for our shirts, and told us all to purchase some black T-Shirts, and bring them to him, and he would silk-screen our logo onto the shirts for us in class.

So that might be something to think about....the only question is; do any of you have LeMasters and access to his machine?

The logo can be made so it's all one color, that wouldn't really be a problem, Titan could take care of it no problem.

I say no matter what, lets go for Renekers, here's why.
-Doing the iron on thing will actually end up costing just as much, if not more, but they won't be near as durable, or as equal from shirt to shirt.
-i don't think we have anyone's from lemasters with us, besides, the complexity of doing each individual name is pretty damn hard.
-i want these shirts to last (long term nubblies.com advertising) and i think renekeres offers us the best chance at that for a very reasonable price.

It was brought up that we might not get them by our first game, while that would disappoint me, i am willing to sacrifice that for the high quality ones...

Actually 3 of us have LeMaster's for Cisco

I'd say he likes us too. But in my opinion, I think going with Renekers would be the best. They're pros, and I've gotten shirts from them before, they're not bad at all. Also, the gold I think, would be fine, since I've gotten shirts that are have yellow lettering from there before. That's just my opinion.

I say go with Renekers, here's why:

1. They'll only be around $8 which isn't too bad.

2. We're going to want them for more than just this season I'm sure, and Reneker's will provide the best quality that we can get.

3. It's easiest. All we have to do is tell them what we want and they'll do it.

Now, I think if you printed something off and gave it to Renekers that they could make it without a problem, except for the color issue.

I am also willing to sacrifice our shirts for the first game to get Nubblies shirts. Great advertising, and who doesn't want to represent the biggest website in Warsaw?

It might be premature to say we've decided on renekers, but either way, we're gonna need money.
When do we want to have it all collected by, who should we give it to?

On a specified day, we all just need to meet at Renekers, and then we order our jerseys, I beleive we don't pay until we pick them up, but I may be completely wrong.

The shirts have been ordered...but there is a small hitch. Unfortunately, when Yotter and I went to ask about prices earlier the chick found it necessary to leave out the price of the shirts themselves. Because of this, all of our projected prices were off...by $7. What does that mean? It means that each shirt will cost $7.00 more than we had expected. Any fan who has bought a shirt will need to pay the extra $7.00 as well as each team member. Now, because we have sold 9 shirts to fans, we'll end up with about $20.00 extra (because the $21.00 setup fee is split between everyone, yet people have all been charged as if there are only 9 people buying shirts...thus giving us the setup fee portion from 9 extra people, giving us $20 extra dollars). This extra $20 can be used to silence those who bitch about the extra $7...or those who truly don't have the cash to pay for it. Or we could put the money toward refreshments for the team...who knows. It's only $21.00, not a huge chunk, but still enough to play around with.

On a sidenote, I'd like to apologize for not getting the right info when Yotter and I went in. Even though we (Yotter and I) both agreed that, the way she made it sound, the $3.00 to print included the shirt, it is still our fault more than anyone else's that we did not get the right info. Sorry fellas...

That sounds like a good way to spend the extra money. I don't really see $7.00 breaking anybody's bank account, especially since some of our parents will pay for it.

I think $7.00 of the extra $21.00 should go to Orgazmo to pay for the domain name (nubblies.com) that we will hopefully have back soon. After that, we will have about $14.00 left which we could put forth for water, gatorade, or whatever else to help out the team's play. The water fountains in the gym suck, so I think it would be a good idea to buy some water. A case of water (24 bottles) costs about $5, so we could provide water for the team just about every game with the extra money.

If anyone else has ideas of what to do with the extra money, we'd love to hear your suggestions. By the way, if we reinbursed the Nubblites, that would only be $2 per Nubblite, which isn't really enough to even deal with.

We could put the extra money towards niga187's jail fee.

Haha, that's a good one Lethal, but you don't have a lot of room to be cracking jokes. You're just lucky that you're not 18 yet or you'd have some nice fees as well! I'm sure you'll like your probation though.

Back to the whole t-shirts thing...I wanted to make the suggestion that someone call Reneker's tomorrow night and check on the shirts. You know, see when they think they'll be done, and if we could at least pick up the players' shirts so we can wear them Friday.

I checked on the shirts today, just around 4:30. The shirts will not be completed until tomorrow, although some were finished already. We can pick them up after school tomorrow, so we need to collect money at school tomorrow. Also, I got a preview of the shirts and they look damn good. The sexbear looks amazing. For those of you who don't know about the bear. It will be a pleasant surprise.

These shirts are pimp as hell. I would have paid $30 for one of these shirts! It's a million times better than those gay Abercrombie shirts that you pay $50 for. Why half of the school didn't want Nubblies shirts is beyond me!

Anyways, I can't wait to wear it this Sunday and kick some ass, even if they do have Engler now.

Fuck Engler. We'll beat them whether he plays or not. It would just be a lot less work without him. My prediction is:
Nubblites: 44
Bad Juniors: 39

Nubblites 44?
I plan on having close to 30 this game, so I hope we can manage more than 44 points this game.
