I was talking to a girl last night about it about why certain people were getting nosebleeds, and when daniel faraday was like, the people who have been on the island the longest or whatever asked her "are you sure?" I don't know what her story is, but i'm pretty sure the chinese dude who can hear dead people talk, I think he's that Dharma video guys' son. Eh? EH?

The time travel stuff wasn't much of a surprise though...I figured that out like two seasons ago. At this point I feel like most of the mystery is gone, but I'm still enjoying it because I like to see how all of the pieces fit together.

Listen. I've been platying alogn utnil this point. what the fuck. explain tomy why you guys are 2 steps short of worshiping this show. I don't get it. Is it compelling television? Perhaps. But is it worht all this hoopla? I'm gonna guess no. I am willing to watch 2 episodes that you hopeless lost fans submit. I will watch those episodes. Those episodes are totally up to you as supergayfans. If I am not sucked in by those 2 episodes, I will report herer with my findings. The problem is that you're coming in so late. This isn't the type of show you can really appreciating by seeing an episode or two. You have to start from the beginning and learn about the characters. And by participating in this thread a lot of the wtf factor is already gone. You're bound to be disappointed.

its really not the best show in the world, its entertaining though. Watch the Sopranos for the best drama TV series. but if you got better things to do than watch lost or tv for entertainment, great for you.... faggot.

Probably the most interesting thing about lost is the developing stories of the characters, and all the flashbacks they have to the characters lives. I think it's appealing to a lot of people because of how everything that has happened in our past, always affects who we are now and what we're doing now. Sounds cliche, but it really is interesting and adds a LOT of content to the show...especially with how fucked up and intertwined most of the people on the island's lives are/were.

Not to sound like some pretentious yuppie, but really gotta watch The Wire in chrono order all the way through. In some ways, it's like a 70 hour long movie. Might not appreciate it as much if you're bouncing around.

I wholeheartedly agree with this. The wire is by far the best crime/drama I've ever seen. It's up there with the sopranos...but whereas the sopranos is just about the italian mob, the wire is about crime/drugs/inner city life in general.
