Ok so I just watched the most recent episode of Lost. I was under the impression that they were supposed to start answering questions this season, rather than introducing outrageous scenarios that could theoretically drag this show on indefinitely. So is who is Jacob's son? At first I thought it was Faraday because of this whole Eloise situation, but then, how is Locke supposed to say hi to him, while he's on the island? I'm more confused than I was an hour ago. I swear to god if this show ends like Sopranos, I'm going to cut someone.

Dude, it was a great episode I thought. That's not Jacob though, thats Christian, Jacks dead father from season 1. He never said he was Jacob, he said he was speaking on BEHALF of Jacob. I still don't really know what Faraday has to do with this or how he was on the island before everyone else, and if he was how he is the ONLY ONE not getting nosebleeds, but I DO know that that Eloise bitch (faradays mom) apparently has some crazy ties to the island AND was in a previous episode playing some sort of storekeep or something I thought. In fact, now that I think about it I'm pretty sure she sold the ring to Desmond to give to Penny before all this shit happened.
You know whats fucked up that never got addressed really? Jack and Desmond knowing each other BEFORE the Island...as far as I know they're the only two who have ever consciously met each other and recognized each other when they saw each other on the island. I danced with some old bitch in Mexico a few months ago and never saw her again, but randomly recognized her in Taco Bell up here in Tempe a few weeks ago. What the fuck are the odds of her not only being there at the exact same time but also living around the same place and eating at the same taco bell!? LET ALONE A REMOTE FUCKING ISLAND HALFWAY ACROSS THE FUCKING WORLD FUCK THIS SHOW IS CRAZY |

alright here are some clips that help clear up this last episode.
I'm curious to see where Locke "travels" to after he turned the wheel. Because remember when Ben does it and puts on the jacket and is like "for where i'm going, i'm going to need it". But then he ends up in the Sahara, as seen here: What's so interesting about this is that Ben obviously wouldn't have thought he was going somewhere cold unless someone had done it before...my guess would be Richard, this guy: ![]() because i'm pretty sure he's the only other one (besides Faraday, who was there during the construction...haven't figured that out yet..he was there during original dharma construction) who we've seen off the Island...multiple times (to get Locke as a child, to recruit Juliette...etc.) What seems to have fucked up this time is that Ben put the wheel "off its center" like a record player on vinyl or something, and thats why all this fucked up time travel stuff is happening to the island. In regard to the old bitch, we saw her a few seasons ago when Desmond was getting the ring from here, as seen here: annnnnd now i'm fucking confused as balls. Because that OLD bitch is Faraday's mother. I'm not 100% sure, but i'm pretty sure this episode is happening during one of Desmonds "real-time flashbacks", where his consciousness seems to travel back in time. This is why he's not doing what he's "supposed to", because this time he traveled back in time, and is trying to change the future, which, as we all know by now, can't happen. Fuck this shit is confusing. I'm thinking about starting all over. |

Yeah I didn't realize that was Jack's dad at first. Also, I guess it's pointless to write in spoiler tags when none of us has any clue what the fuck we're talking about anyway.

I say in all honesty that John Lockes story (and the way Terry O'Quinn portrays him), even though its completely fiction, is probably the saddest thing I have ever seen in my whole life. Even sadder than dead puppies.

He just keeps getting shit on. For instance, in the most recent episode, he's trying to kill himself. He has a wire noose around his neck standing on a desk when Ben (main "bad" guy from the beginning...now his true colors are kinda blurred) walks in and tells him all of the things he has to live for and all that. He coaxes him off the table. They talk for a few minutes, John gives him the name of a random person, and then Ben kills him with the wire.
It appears that John is 100% earnest in his intentions, yet he is always being played like a god damned fiddle. |

Well, that was a pretty interesting finale. Jacob and that other guy (hereafter referred to as "grayhair")...brothers, maybe? Gods of some sort? Graybeard was clearly posing as Locke...was he posting as Jacob in the past flashbacks too? Was he banished from the Island, couldn't get back somehow? In the flashbacks, I noticed that Jacob had physical contact with all of the main characters but Jack, who he just handed a candy bar he touched. I wonder if that will be relevant. God damn, you know I never thought that the show would actually ever have an explanation, but a lot of it really has come together quite nicely. That being said, its always pretty easy to retcon when you throw time travel into the mix.

I just want to say that Lost is really stupid and gay. The only good thing about it is Kate, because she's got one hell of an ass on her. Other than that, it's stupid.
Completely fantastical, downright retarded -> accurate descriptions of Lost. I watched the first season on DVD in a marathon, it sucked me in big time. I watched season two this same way. I became frustrated. It's the same bullshit, over and over again. No questions are answered, instead they answer questions with more questions. It's redundant and stupid. The creator of this show J.J. Abrams, I guarantee has absolutely no fucking clue where he is going with this show. He has no plans, he's just going to keep coming up with more and more bizarre shit to "fuck with your mind" and never give you any closure to the story. When he finally ends the fucking show in a few years, it's going to be such a retarded, fantastic, unbelievable, and downright lame ending, you're all going to be severely disappointed and wish you never wasted 9 years of your life watching the show. It's the same guy who made Alias, which also had a mystical (mind fucking) storyline. Although he really took it to the next level with lost. Alias ended in a way that really just made you want to shoot yourself in the face for ever following the show. Lost will be the same. |

I used to watch it back in season one and then realized something like this might happen so I decided I would wait until it was all over and only watch it if it ended in a reasonable manner, last thing I want is a six year case of TV blue balls.
