Food - Lotus of Siam (Thai), best buffet is Bellagio and Wynn, best steakhouse is Delmonico's (Venetian/Palazzo), best shows are Cirque (O is reviewed best and I agree, which is at Bellagio).

If you go to Hoover Dam, take the tour.

Red Rock Canyon is amazing for hiking (for all skill levels)

Metro Pizza is insanely good.

Freakin Frog has over 700 beers available (and is 1/4 mile from Metro Pizza)

Most fun you can have on first trip to Vegas is by just walking up and down each side of the Strip drinking and casino hopping.
