Protip:

If you want to use wikipedia, you still can, it works be redirecting you once the page loads.

Solution:

Hit the stop button before the page is fully loaded. Noble cause still supported, information still available to you.

SOPA is "Stop Online Piracy Act" and PIPA is the Senate version.

Basically they would enable blocking of sites linking to any possible copyright infringements, so anything with user created content, or even comments.

Pro-tip part 2. To get around blackout, use google to get the wiki page, then use the "cache" entry. There are also plenty of cites that allow you to use a back door as well.
