Long Shots
I love long takes (Long take - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia).
Here is an internet list of 15 long takes. The only one I really knew about was #3, from Goodfellas. Top 15 Amazing Long Takes In college I remember watching a movie called Soy Cuba, which was mostly unintelligible, but had an amazing long take. Apparently they're also called tracking shots. Also here is the Spice Girls video "Wannabe" which, impressively was all one take. Scary Spice, in particular, killed her performance here. Posh Spice had a down day. Sporty Spice has a couple awkward moments (like at the very beginning) but nails a backflip on top of a banquet table. |
