I don't know man I think it was a pretty weak showing from all but a couple of posters... All that "drink some draino and die" nonsense was pretty bad. It accomplished exactly what he was trying to accomplish--pissing off the regulars. Like it or not, overall I think it was a pretty successful trolling.

Does it still irritate the shit out of you when people refer to pop as pop?

Funny story: Once I was in South Carolina and as we were getting ready to leave the hotel for the day, I wanted a can of coke. So I go up to the front desk at the hotel and ask if there is a pop machine nearby. The guy working there looked at me like I just spoke a foreign language to him. After a moment of confusion he asked another guy working there if he knew wtf a pop machine was and the guy was like, oh you mean soda machine. Then they pointed me in the proper direction.

Nah, I was referring to Sherman's dad having the bigger wallet and DJ FC correcting his math skills. As a side note, I don't really know bjjking/bloodyfart and always wondered how much of the wealth thing was bullshit and how much was true. He didn't seem to let on how rich people act.

Yeah pop still drives me crazy. I can't speculate on the amount of money that he had, but they definitely had money. I think you're confusing how rich people act and how rich people's kid's act. He just had good money for a 24 year old.

He's teaching bjj at 10th Planet in LA. He's not hard to find.

Definitely a good point. But to frame it a bit differently, he often blurred the line between himself and his dad. I suppose I was thinking back to those timed when he would say shit like his kindergarten connections at private school was more marketable than my New Jersey college degree and contacts. Because it was who he knew, not what I knew. Coupled with the way my uncle Bill works and expected of family members on the company dime to work was just drastically different.

But all in all, I think your right. I can separate on my experience, but project his to being the same.

Bjj instructors just teach for like 10 minutes per class, the rest is just drilling and live practice. He probably just gets free mat time and Eddie Bravo awesomeness or something, which he'd be doing by being there anyway. Owners on the other hand can make shit tons, especially in that area and especially if you're Eddie Bravo.
