Just wanted to get the feel of who all out there would want to hear an OST between us. AcTivE has posted his intent to come back with some more information for us all but, again, it's stupid to use that current thread for it.
I'd be interested in it myself as a something to sharpen my wit against. Plus there's the idea of providing entertainment to all my fellow nubblites out there. Whether to my benefit or at my expense. |

I would like to see this go down. However, seeing as though the basis of most of you two's arguments has been religion, I believe that you, Percy, would have a lesser chance of winning. Seeing as though most of the people on here are, or at least were active Christians. See the "letter to myself" posts for that info. I'm not trying to sound dickish, because I'd be leaning more torwards your argument to start, but that's only me. Other than that, it wouldn't look likely that you'd stand a chance, based on who'd be judging.

Here's the thing: I'd love to see the two of you in an arguement, but not necessarily an OST. Maybe if it was a straight up debate on a topic, awesome, but I don't want to sit and watch you two talk about how the other is gay and you fucked his mom.

Good point Pliedes. Leads me to a question. How about an official Debate? The two both seem to have good arguments, just not OSTworthy arguments. It be like and OST, except they'd be arguing over a central topic, instead of who is a more productive part of the human gene pool.

I want to see them in a contest. And since we don't have an offical debate, an OST is the route we have for such, thats what I want them to do, I just don't want it to go the direction many OSTs do. I thought that was fairly simple to see.

Dug up a little info on OSTing,
Quote:
Not that I don’t enjoy talking shit, even feigning some belligerent disparaging remarks, And Even, on rare occasion, damaging someone’s self confidence. …But it just takes all the fun out of it if your only motivation is your own broken life and your maniacal rage to take it out on somebody else. …but that’s just me. So about that Debate… Even with the audience, I’d stand a fair enough chance of arguing well and even winning. I do think this still needs to involve mad amounts of smack talking though. Just liberally sprinkled over valid points of argument. I’d love an Official Debate. Any suggestions or ideas on how to set this up would be cool. Using the same format from OST would definitely do the trick seeing as how we’re about doing it already. But, we would need a moderator to make official. If you guys or anyone else interested in the debate has any ideas, post ‘em here. | |

Thats what I was trying to get at. OST's can be fun, but its just not for you two. Right now an OST is all we have for ya though. We've talked about offical debates in the past when OST's became logic battles.
