Hey I was wondering what everybody thought about what Phil Jackson said about if Kobe couldn't play for awhile that he would ask Jordan to play for him?? I don't know if this ever just fell though but i haven't heard anything new on it. I just think that The Lakers would be unbeatable.

Also what do you think about the troubles that Kobe and Shaq are going though right now?

I do agree, when Kobe came back, they would indeed be unbeatable.

Shaq, Malone, Payton, Jordan. Weren't they all on the Dream Team 1 or 2?

Yeah i think they were on one but i'm not sure if Shaq was on it. I know the one in Barcelona if i spelled that right i have no clue it was Jordan, Stockton, Drexler, Robinson, Charles Barkley,Malone, Magic Johnson, Pippen, and Bird.

That was in '92 I think.

In '96 I think Shaq was in there.

And then no one would argue that Kobe doesn't belong with such greats, so right there we have a team of epic proportions.

Jackson later said that he told that to a Chicago newspaper just to get a rise out of them...and that it's not true. Also, Shaq is quoted as saying that, if jordan was added, it would be bad for the team. He compared the team to an escalade with pimp rims...which is nice and gets the job done, but, if you start going crazy adding shit, it becomes too much and the escalade isn't as pimp as it was with just the rims. Something like that, at least.

Wow, that was a retarded reason to not have Jordan. Shaq is probably just jealous. Anyway, I figured Jackson was just humourizing. I figured it was pretty unrealistic.

If the Lakers had Jordan they would be beatable, because look at the Dallas Mavs. They are fucking stacked and I think they are the team to look out for not the Lakers, because they have so many problems on the court. Also the Lakers can not stay healthy

Jordan should have stayed retired after the second time. The Lakers are worthless, VOL thinks that Kobe needs to accept the fact that for one time in his life Shaq is right.

I agree i can't stand Kobe at all i don't know why i just can't. I'm a huge jordan fan i think that the should have just never came back the 3rd time. sometimes i lose count. But I mean he didn't do any good for the Wizards. I mean he gave them some more wins but nothing to be happy about really.
Kobe needs to accept the fact that Shaq is the star on that team and if dosen't like it then Kobe can find another team. Which in my mind i think is the best thing that kobe can do to prove that he is one of the best all time is to go to a really shitty team and see what he can do.
