Can we just change this thread to "big buildings you may or may not have visited"?

Cocktooth 02-04-2013 11:58 AM

No, because that would defeat the whole purpose of keeping you and Blonde out of the thread. I see that didn't work well.

Just have heard that peanuts are a popular snack and hence there are peanut shells everywhere.

Still waiting?

Cocktooth 04-01-2013 04:35 PM

Hoping to add the Columbus Crew stadium to this list as I'm efforting tickets and a trip to my first international soccer match in September.

Orgazmo 04-01-2013 04:53 PM

Make sure you get tickets with American Outlaws. Standing with the families and watching the game is fun, but you're wasting your trip if you're not with the hooligans.

DJ FC 04-02-2013 08:31 AM

I would like to add the Tokyo Dome to the list where I saw the Yomiuri Giants defeat the Hiroshima Carp.

BigDongedHoe 04-05-2013 10:29 AM

1. Assembly Hall Bloomington, IN - Still to this day the loudest venue I've ever been to
2. RCA Dome Indianapolis, IN - Went for a Colts/Steelers Monday night game I think in 06'. Would definitely rank second to Assembly on noise.
3. Lucas Oil Field Indianapolis, IN - Fantastic modern stadium
4. Wrigley Field Chicago, IL - Nostalgia, is there anything better?
5. Ross Aide Stadium West Lafayette, IN - I hate Purdue and I hate their stadium
6. Mackey Arena West Lafayette, IN - Great place to watch a basketball game, literally not one bad seat in there. Especially when the Hoosiers win by 30.
7. Memorial Stadium Bloomington, IN - With the new upgrades this is a great football stadium
8. U.S. Cellular Field Chicago, IL - Modern baseball park but in the ghetto
9. Allen County War Memorial Coliseum Ft. Wayne, IN - Go Komets!
10. Bankers Life Fieldhouse Indianapolis, IN - Great modern place for basketball
11. Hinkle Fieldhouse Indianapolis, IN - The Wrigley Field of college basketball. Highly reccomended!
12. Estadio Olimpico San Pedro Sula, Honduras - Complete dump, but man are they passionate about futbol
13. Rangers Ballpark Arlington, TX - Modern ballpark, sat in one of the corporate suites in the outfield. Interesting they double as everyday work offices. I'm sure those jobs are in high demand where you can watch baseball and work at the sametime.
14. Joyce Center South Bend, IN - Watched the Hoosiers knock of the Irish in 04' I think. Great place to watch a basketball game and the student section of ND is pretty unbelieveable.
15. Indianapolis Motor Speedway - Vroom Vroom Party Starter
16. Crooked Stick GC Carmel, IN - PGA was awesome there
17. Dudley Field (Vanderbilt) Nashville, TN - I saw DMB there, does that count?
18. Ryan Field Evanston, IL - Horrible, the whole campus of Northwestern is horrible
19. Great American Ballpark Cinncinati, OH - Awesome place to watch baseball

Concert Venues:
1. Deer Creek Noblesville, IN - Still my favorite
2. Alpine Valley East Troy, WI - Huge and fun, nothing else like it
3. Riverbend Ampitheatre Cinncinati, OH - Small and intimate but overall a poor exerpience
4. First Midwest Bank Ampitheatre Tinley Park, IL - Horrible ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE place to watch a show
5. Cruzan Ampitheatre West Plam Beach, FLA - Decent place not great, too hot in the summer
6. Toyota Park Bridgeview, IL - Soccer stadium doubles as a pretty kickass place to watch a concert

Toured Twickenham rugby stadium a few weeks back.
Rugby fans are wankers that think football fans are scum, they talk about how friendly they all are and how football fans need segregating.
