Looks like Microsoft plans to buy Vivendi's game division.
Vivendi owns Havas and Blizzard.
Havas makes Half Life, and Blizzard is the creator of such gaming hits as the Warcraft, Starcraft, and Diablo series, some of the greatest games ever created.
Microsoft intends to buy this company with the purpose of strengthening their internal software line, meaning that these companies would be making all their games Xbox and possibly Windows exclusive.

Yes this is true, although you did leave out Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, and the literary Lord of the Rings license. Also dont be suprised if Starcraft Ghost (1st person shooter set in the Starcraft Universe), becomes a Xbox exclusive. This is very good news, the game wont be tuned down for PS2 hardware and will be made to take full advantage of the Xbox hardware, this brings a smile to my face.

Microsoft bought Bungie, the company that made Halo. Halo was originally to be a PC game with serious online multiplayer capabilities, before Microsoft bought it and made it a selling point for the XBox.

Yes that is correct, and look how good of a game Halo turned out to be, seems to me if anything Microsoft helped make Halo a great game and not ruin it. In fact to illustrate my point i have provided some links to some pictures of Halo that where relased in 1999 about 2 years before the Xbox came out.

I would say this is proves just how much Halo went down the shitter after Microsoft took over, damn those big money hungry monopolistic bastards.
Also i would like to point out that Halo is coming out for PC in July, and yes those "serious" multiplayer capabilities will also be available. You can read up on some news here.

If Microsoft bought Vivendi Games, I might possibly lose all faith in humanity due to that fucking behemoth Microsoft. I would literally be ill. They have ruined to many good things. I will never buy a Microsoft product, no matter whoever the fuck they buy. I hate them.

Well to tell you the truth its a good thing that Microsoft is buying Vivendi Games, for 3 reasons.
1. Vivendi has been having troubles for the past few months, the company was likely to split up and downsize resulting in lost programmers, and software titles. I would be literally ill if i saw 3-4 smaller companies just buy individual software lisences, and split up the company that way, keeping the company intact is for the better. If Microsoft didnt buy them it would be either Nintendo or Sony (and god knows you just how differnt your post would have been), but the likely hood of that would be rather slim.
2. If there is one company out there that can afford to buy the whole company to keep it intact, so that the software titles aren't drastically changed from their predescors it would be Microsoft.
3. Micrsoft is a very good game developer, and with their experience in the types of games that Vivendi studios produces, the games are only going to get better.
