Hostel was just "ok". much like the movie strangeland it didn't even come close to living up to its potential. and it fell far short of what could have been a horrifically violent movie that delved into the psyche of socio/psychopathic people.
Too much time was spent on silly nosensical things and most definitely not enough spent within the walls of the "torture" chambers. The filmmaker held back way too much and turned this movie into your basic run of the mill horror flick. i was very dissapointed after watching hostel
