I'll start. So I bought an old house (1906) house about a year ago and have been doing the whole renovating / updating thing slowly as money allows.
First a picture of the house.
Then a couple before pictures of the bedroom I am currently finishing up. Don't believe any rumors Blonde may start involving me, him, a sleepover, and an everlasting bond of love represented by a pastel rainbow painted on the wall - it came with the house.
The rest are pictures of the bedroom currently, I had to rip out paneling that was nailed and glued to painted over wall paper that was over a plaster wall that I had to patch, sand, and repaint. I also built two closets as older houses didn't have closets because they generally went with wardrobes instead. I closed over the one closet upstairs because it goes to the other bedroom and makes the room harder to use with having to account for another door. I also installed new windows that I had to special order because the opening was 78 inches by 29 inches.
