I recently started playing this game again and I've got to say it's still fantastic. Anyone interesting in meeting up on battle.net should gimme a hollah so we can pwn some Lords of Destruction together. I just started a few days ago so I'm rockin' a level 25 necromancer.

I played a bunch of what I think I remember was Diablo 2 like freshman year...is it free or do i need to download something or what? I could see myself getting back into it.

It's like 15 bucks for the original and expansion discs. Battle.net is free. It's a cheap investment for a very worthwhile game.

We were damn close to getting this started once, but Active fell through technologically. Since then, a free program called "Hamachi" has been introduced to me. Its not especially user friendly, but it tricks your computers to thinking you are connected in a LAN, therefore allowing you all to play with the same cd key online.
