your 18 and its going to be past 10PM when you arrive. I went with about 10 people last night, about half of us were 19 years old and can legally buy alcohol and get into the clubs/bars. The other half were 17 or 18 and couldn't get into anything, so we were going to just drink up in our hotel room.

Well.. for some gay ass reason, Canadian liquior stores close there doors at 10PM on a saturday night, EVERY SINGLE ONE. What the fuck is that shit? I thought Canada was going to be so cool because of there drinking laws, that fucking sucked. We were stuck up in the room w/ no beer and a bunch of shitty television stations.

Have you ever watched "Tipi Tales" at like 8am on a Sunday morning? Thats one of the most fucked up puppet shows ive ever seen. We were cracking up so hard watching that shit this morning, that probably was the highlight of the trip.

Seriously though, im disappointed in you Canada. Also I think the currency exchange guys in Canada jacked my money, cause when I gave them $20 canadian they gave me $15 american, whats that crap.

I feel your dilema, Nathan.

The liquor stores closed at 6pm New Years Eve! What kind of serious bullshit is that? I had to spend all my money getting drunk at the bars because I couldnt pre-drink.

Maybe I don't feel your dilema, at least I got drunk.

Someone told me that all the liquior stores are government owned, so I guess by closing early its to prevent drunking driving and what not, even though you still got the clubs/bars. I guess during the summer then stay open till 11, but still thats kinda shitty, by the time you get all your friends together, travel to the border, get over the bridge and through the tunnel, its generally pretty late. We should have just brought our own if we knew this would happen, we didn't get searched coming in.

Oh well, I ended up staying up all night regardless and had a decent time I suppose, I just really was looking forward to getting drunk, I dont drink often, and it was my last night of spring break.

yeah they did...we go there just in time to buy very little cause they had nothing left....still got really fucked up!!!!

Yea, the liqour store was called LCBO, Liqour Control Board of Ontario, or something like that I think. Then there was also "The Beer Store."

We left the liqour store at like 5:45 because it was so damn full, thinking "oh, this won't be a problem we can just find another" then when we finally get to the beer store at 6:01 the damn door is locked and the cop goes "sorry eh, it's closed." We were devestated.

we were in there for an hour gettin our shit around 4 or so...there was damn near hundred people in the store..it sucked...i just kept buying beer and more beer and just some crazy amounts of alchool
