In theory, Communism looks fine, until you throw in that BIG detail that so many people omit. Communist states are so corrupt that they make any injustice our government has done look like nothing. They are one of the poorest countries around, and the only reason they survive is because they actually have, you guessed it, implemented some capitalist programs.
As for muslims, no, they aren't hethens. They are heretics. A bit of a difference there dude, just a bit. Their religion actually is pretty similar to christianity, except they treat Christ as a prophet and not the son of God. Oh yeah, I highly doubt most people on this board think Allah is really a bad guy because Allah IS God. It's just "Allah" is the word they use for it.
Finally, I feel the need to address how you believe we "support" the deaths of our fellow countrymen. Wow, you really hit the nail on the head there, son. Just about every American decided to throw a big celebration march in Times Square on 9/11 and after the announcement of each casualty in war. Yes you struck a nerve, you wasted 20 minutes of my time when your band stepped on stage, and then proceeded to voice views that are on the intellectual level of a 9 year old. If you look at any great philosopher, scientist or what not, you'll find that most of them either...

1. Read Books
2. Were an understudy to a great teacher
3. Examined ideas of other intellectuals.

From there they would derive their originality, ideas now are foundations for future ones to be built upon, that’s why the Wright Brothers first airplane only made it 5 feet off the ground, and not 30,000 feet flying at 500 mph while carrying 200 passengers. There is not one idea, invention, etc, that is not supported or helped out by other ideas that are already in place. To say your ideas are completely original and there are other "Robert Lugos" throughout history is complete bullshit, and quite frankly makes me laugh.

First, as I mentioned to Pliedes this afternoon, knowledge is generally a great thing, but a little knowledge is poisonous. Mr. Lugo is a person of strong convictions based on little knowledge, and as such, is a danger to ignorant, easily influenced minds, including himself. The views he spreads are ignorant and undefendable from his standpoint. Sure, you are entitled to your opinions, but try to base them on solid ground, kid. An AntiFlag song should not be your political manifesto. A shirt that "Allah Bless America" that is only intended to strike a nerve with people is offensive, and actually sacreligious. The First Amendment wasn't written so you and your punkass friends could go around offending people. It was set up to defend people with a real purpose, not to provide a safety net for your juvenile stunts, although it probably explains why nobody has been able to check your ignorance.

Also, even though you have free speech, you're still accountable for your statements, and any consequences they have. If you get up on stage and act like Michael Moore on marijuana, you better deal with it a better when people disagree with you. You can't just throw it back at us and call us intolerant. THIS IS TOLERANCE. We don't have to agree with you, and I sure as hell won't. Nobody has deleted your posts here or edited your messages, and nobody has killed you (yet).

I've been reading all of your posts and i can't help but think to myself how much i agree with people like vitcim. Even though buckeye has some very excellent points, he's doing exactly what lugo and all his friends want him to do, and that is get pissed off and lose his cool. I would like to know what lugo would like to do if he met you guys in person?? Is he going to fight you?? That would be very hypocritical since he's against war and all. But if you're against war, shouldnt you be against all violence?? It sure adds up to me since its all the same thing just on a different scale. Whoever said they are misinformed is exactly right. If they knew what government and the country does for them they just might have a change of heart. The government protects them, gives them food and shelter, and provides them with a somewhat free life. I firmly believe the only way to truly understand your enemy or a different lifestyle is to live it or be around it for a long period of time. If lugo says he wants communism or whatever he wants, well he can just go to some country where that is the main belief and see how he likes it then. His view will probably change after he sees how many people struggle to live daily in places where communism is present. well, well, well, it's nice to see that no-one gets past themselves and actually reads. i said only in a perfect world. i believe in communist views, because they are pure. just not in practice (or with humans.) here we are again priding ourselves in taking things out of context. the only thing that stinks here is the constant ass kissing of this little group with little lives and little minds, but i cant say that, cuz id be close-minded and contradicting myself somehow. you tell me, you know everything. i dont want a communist power controlling anything, because it's too easily corruptable, and no one person is responsible or accountable enough to have that kind of power. if you could quit being so hung up on trying to bash me, you might understand a little more where i am coming from. but people fear what they don't understand... the only reason why democracy works well is because of the constant checks and balances. if it was up to the politicians, the whole thing would be worse than a jerry springer rerun. look at the romans, they fell apart from the inside out. then the goths came in and tore them apart. that's why they fell. they lasted for about 550 years, we've only been a working government for about 175 years, and already we are so fucked, we are losing more rights by the hour. oh yeah, bush is an idiot because he REALLY contradicts himself, not only that but he declared war when he didn't even know who we were gonna fight. that's very professional. so i agree with communism, i never said that's what i wanted. as for what i would do if you told me your thoughts in person, i'd congradulate you for not only having the balls, but for expressing yourself, and then say "Now your getting the picture." so i hope to see someone at the ymca on friday the 25th of april, wearing a shirt that says "ingsoc fucking sucks". buckeye, i will shake your hand on a job well done if you actually go through with it. you guys made it sound like i would wanna fight, and that would be a contradiction. you should all work for the tabloids, you'd be good at bending the facts. wake up and realize im not trying to be different for attention, nor am i just putting on a show. this is how i truly feel, and I WROTE "Allegiance to None" (the first/acoustic song) during my stay at Boot Camp. the only covers we played were nofx-bob, the offspring-the kids..., and the intro of Corporate's Fight Anthem. the other four songs were ours (i wrote them myself). grow up, get lives, grow old, use protection (for society's sake).

Now how are they pure? Because the ultimate goal is a perfect world? Isn't the ultimate goal of every government? But communism uses oppresion to achieve it, where as democracy seeks to let it's citizens choose the best route.

Where are you coming from? Lets see:
1 - You've said you have family problems.
2 - You've said that you're not financially secure.
3 - You've embrace a rebellious attitude.
4 - You've been to 'boot camp' (showing some sort of legal punishment).

Now I don't know you in real life, I've heard things before, but let's not even consider that stuff. This is all stuff you've said. Now, since you know your history, you'd know that people in more desperate situations tend to more easily be influenced by radical ideas. Most all psychological theories would support this. From what you've said, we could conclude that you are simply the product of a negative enviroment, reaching out for anything that offers you stability or can justify the way you are or feel.
But thats all just hypothetical, we don't actually know you. I don't mean this as a personal attack, I was just pointing out the similarities. Correct me if I'm wrong.
