The "Nubblies.com" domain name registration ran out (on January 14 - the technical one year anniversary of Nubblies <the name, not the board> ). Because the name ran out, you/me/we couldn't get to the board...which makes sense. In normal circumstances, one could simply contact the company and reregister...but we don't have normal circumstances, folks. Unfortunately, the password for nubblies within the registering company is unknown. Along with that, the place where the password is sent (via the lost password function) is a nubblies.com email address...an email that didn't exist after January 14th came and went. So...if we go to the site and try to reregister, they ask for a pass. In order to get the pass, we need them to mail it to us. They mail it to a nubblies.com email...which doesn't exist. It's a vicious fucking circle. So we have to wait for them to completely cancel the url...so that it can be reregistered. Sexduckmotherfuck.

Yes, as you will notice, avatars are not here. This is my thought:

Firstly, I don't know how easy/hard it would be to fix that, and I don't feel like looking into it because Nubblies.com could be back tomorrow... (then again, it could be 3 yrs...nobody knows)...

Anyway, as long as the avatars are gone (and a lot of the images on the front page), we will know what it's like to not have Nubblies.com. If nubblies.blueoptic.com was just as good as nubblies.com, there would be nothing to look forward to...so, by keeping these flaws about, we'll orgasm thricely at the return of the original. That's all for now.

An update on what is happening:

nubblies.com officially ran out on Jan. 4, but for some reason, people were able to access it after that. Anyways, there is a 45 day "Grace Period" which they give the owner a chance to re-register the domain. This means that we are going to have to wait until around Feb. 18th to let the "grace period" run out before Orgazmo is able to re-register nubblies.com.

That's awful, but these things do happen. This will have it's advantages, the newbies have pretty much disappeared, and this time could be used to make some site improvements... I don't actually have any suggestions, it was just an idea.

It is nice, but we do need some newbies or else it would just be the same people on here all the time. The morons end up leaving after about a month anyways, but some of them stay, the ones that aren't complete dipshits.

Like Mister Bater, he was a cool newbie, but now since nubblies.com shut down, he will probably never be back. He's probably stopped trying by now. If we're lucky, he will, but who knows. We get a good newbie every once in a while, and some of them that used to post every once in a while were kind of funny.
