as some of you may know warsaw is playing in the sectional championship game this friday. This game is going to be covered by WRSW on the AM station. Tippy Valley is usually covered on the fm station since fm covers a bigger geographic area. Tippy however lost last week, and instead of putting us on the fm radio station. WRSW decided to put northwood on there......
This is complete and utter bullshit, it disgusts me. now that, i said that ill continue. Coach phil jenson of the warsaw tigers decided to terminate all relations with WRSW, meaning no pre, or post game interviews, or no tiger talk on saturdays. Brad Ellis as many of you might know, has been the radio announcer for our games for 18 years, and also does tiger talk on saturday mornings. He stood up for us and turned all his radio equimpment, quit and walked out the door. Now man has ever showed support for us, or the warsaw community like Mr. Ellis has, i would just like to say thank you Mr. Ellis for your support, and we only hope that we can repay you for your devotion to tiger football |

We still believe.

I agree with all of you. Someone needs to send a message to people that you need to support your own. People now seem to willing to ditch those that have always been there for the next big thrill. Or to look for what gets the prize. I find it sick, and once again comment Mr. Ellis on what he did.

Hey, who is WRSW owned by? I'm not sure if that matters, but it could have been a reason why WRSW chose to air the Northwood game.....isn't it IGB? Not sure. Oh well, just a consideration.
Oh, and props to Brad Ellis. Great guy, great loyalty. |

Hey buckeye, i think a letter to the editor of the times union would be in line. Talk about how shitty wrsw is being, and thank mr.ellis for his support and all, then have all the senior football players sign it...

thats a good idea, wintergrey. i will defiently have to write it up. As far as the times union goes they hate us just as much. here are 2 examples of their support of warsaw. their article on the homestead defense, who the hell would give a shit in kosciuscko county anyways. their article on the lakeland soccer team, our soccer team could kill them, why not a big article on them instead? it pisses me off how they find ways not to write about warsaw sports. the times union and wrsw, can both go to hell. I saw that some parents did write something to the paper, it was in a couple days ago (check www.timeswrsw.com) but write one from the senior players, saying, we just think it's sad that our own town didn't carry the last game we ever played....have all of your sign it...
