Well, one of my buddies is getting married today. As of last night, i've become a single man. Is the better play to go by myself, or bring a 'date'?

I've got a few friends who would'nt mind going, but I dunno.

You probably wont get this in time for the wedding, I have no background on the situation, I'm not in any way qualified to give advice on this subject (or most other subjects), I don't know your friend, your ex, or your potential date, I in general give terrible advice, I'm short, I used to have a bad mustache, I still think sideburns are awesome, I have a drinking problem, I may be getting back together with my ex, work is going good for me right now, I drive a Corolla S, and I'm drinking a pepsi. That being said, weddings are generally good places to meet chicks. Go alone, leave attended.

Everybody and their fucking mom has weddings to go to this summer except me. this blows. i love weddings.

not so much the wedding, as the reception. I love to get dressed up, talk to people, and (if it's a good wedding) drink for free and dance with girls.

honestly one of the worst receptions i've been to. Besides the wedding party, there were 8 adults under 30 there. 2 of which I went to HS with, and they were pretty hot back then, but holy shit 5 years can be a bitch when you don't take care of yourself anymore.

Off to the bars i go in a bit.
