There's a lot of activity going on at eharmony. Due to this, I'm going to wait until I get the open communcation sector before posting any info or pics. I have yet to get to that level with any of the 4 girls I've been in contact with, though two of them are nearly there.

It seems like it does a good job of screening out the people who don't match what their tests deem your personality to be; however, I would guess that "too many prospects" is hardly the problem most members of E-Harmony have. Stop being so picky and take what you can get, losers.

I currently have 57 matches open, with 7 of them in open communication. Only one of those 7 lives in Vegas. I really enjoy the conversation that I have with most of them. I've learned quite a few different conversation points when I meet new people. I changed my religious preference from spiritual to none. Months ago, I figured that would steer girls away but as soon as I changed it to none, the matches exploded. So I'm more honest AND getting better results. I also changed my occupation from "music educator" to "grad student." This got me many more returns. I believe it's due to the bias that people instantly get when you tell them your profession. Whether it's good or bad, it's there. "Grad student" only says you're going somewhere with your life but doesn't define where or what in. These changes have been huge in getting more responses.

Speaking of gambling, I no longer even mention it. If I'm asked why I moved to Vegas, I'll add in that I played for one year before attending grad school, but I play so much less now-a-days that it's not worth even bringing up. Of course that will change this summer when I my wsop challenge again, but that's months away.
