I know that some of you are ballers and going to Brazil for the World Cup. I am jealous of you.

Not being a baller, I'm going to go to Vegas to watch instead. This is where I was four years ago (with some other of you) for the event and it was a fantastic god damned time. I see no reason why it would be much different this time.

I know that F3lix will likely be in Vegas anyway. And I know that people like UB make trips like this on a whim, so, if that were to happen, advanced notice isn't necessary. This post is more geared toward a person like Dirty Harry, a Shaw, or even a Repug--someone who may be looking for a fun summer adventure in June/July but need a little notice.

I'm looking at a stretch somewhere in the June 16 - 26 range, the frame that has the USA playing their 3 group stage games.

Who wants to go?

A heads up that I'll probably be in Indy at end of June. But have a July 4th parade to be back in Vegas to play.

Just last week I was talking about a little mini trip out there this summer. Thursday - Sunday, but my wife reminded me that I will be having my 2nd baby come the middle of June. Would love to go out there, just don't think missing the birth would be a good career move.

DH: Sounds good. Do any of the details matter? Probably looking to be out there for the first game only (June 16), so a ~4 day stretch that includes that.

As long as it's not during the first week of the month I should be good to go.

Would definitely like to stay at a hotel on the strip, though.

Also, what are your thoughts on doing a pit-stop in Denver for a day or two? No big deal if not, just spit balling some ideas here.

There will be no next birth. This one is costing me a ton, and since I'm covering my insurance deductible, I'm tying her ass up so there are no more lil Shaw's.

Ok I hate to throw this in there and maybe it's more appropriate for it to be it's own thread, but just perhaps it's not:

Kremlin and I (and a few others) have already purchased tickets and reserved RVs for Burning Man. Just sayin.

I love that you guys are going to BM. It sounds fucking amazing honestly. I can't foresee being able to join this year scheduling-wise but if it becomes a tradition I'd block off time for it in the years that follow. Can't wait to hear how it is.
