This came about from fancymegan's post in the worst band thread about guys who know Yellow Submarine and consider themselves huge Beatles fans. I completely agree with this. So, that being said, I'd like serious stuff here. If you've only heard the one song that you put down, then don't bother posting it.

I was going to make a poll, but there's no way to get them all. Either way, my favorite is Eleanor Rigby. It's quite depressing. Now that I think about it, a good candidate for NubDep. Anyway, yeah...so, go ahead...

I'll tell you Rubber Soul] and Revolver are a couple of my favourite albums.

Songs that come to mind that I love are She's Leaving Home, Tomorrow Never Knows, For No One, Just Seen a Face, Across the Universe, Michelle, Norwegian Wood. God-dammit I wish all my old Beatles albums weren't on tape or I'd be listening to them right now... I had two copies of Sgt. Pepper, Magical Mystery Tour, and Help because I lost them all at one point and then found them later.

A Day In The Life

No question about it. Tied for a distant second would be classics such as There Are Places I Remember, Let It Be, The Long And Winding Road, When I'm Sixty-Four, For The Benefit of Mr. Kite, Blackbird, She's Leaving Home, and probably several others that I'm forgetting right now.

Great band.

This one makes me think, but I would probably say that Day Tripper may be my favorite. I also love to sing along to Oh Bla Di whenever I get the chance.

Oh, God. I think I have to go with . . . Blackbird and Eleanor Rigby. Closely, closely, CLOSELY after that is Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End, Because, All You Need is Love, I've Just Seen a Face. Good Day Sunshine, too.

Stop Comic Sans!

I'll agree that the white album is their best... Sgt. Pepper is a close second.

My guess is that it's a good thing you put that. You wouldn't want one of Pliedes's 3 page rants about it (be it from him or someone else).

I realize you didn't want anyone to reply to that, but I'm going to, 'cause I agree with you.

I'm really not sure why the White Album gets such notoriety. Sure, it's a great album, I would never doubt that...I can just name off a few more Beatles Albums that tickle my fish quite a bit more: Sgt Pepper (greatest album of all time perhaps), Abbey Road, Revolver...and shit, even One, Red Album, and Blue Album (even though they're compilations). I dunno, I just can't take the White Album too seriously, it's like a novelty album to me for some reason.

So yeah....I concur.

strawberry fields forever is my favorite beatles song. and as for the the white album being the best album. those who think this are obviously on more drugs then the beatles were when the recoreded it. sgt. peppers and revolver are truly the greatest beatles albums.

Last night, I thought of Nubblies!
I was bowling for a work party, and my friend put in all beatles songs on the jukebox, and the first thing that came to mind was this thread.
