You misrepresented the Freakonomics finding in an obscene way. If anything the study showed a correlation between abortions among the poorest citizens with crime rates. Big surprise, poor people having less babies that they can't afford led to crime going down. There's a large correlation between wealth and race.

So yeah good arguments. I like the part where you call people names.

I wouldn't say I misrepresented the findings. I simply said that unwanted babies were killed off before they grew up to become criminals, therefore the crime rates dropped. I thought the poor part was kind of just assumed. I mean, I don't know too many rich people out there causing street crime.

Row vs. Wade. It's always a tough decision for me. If I row, I'll get there faster but I'll miss out being in the clear water and enjoying the scenery around the river that I would experience if I would have waded.

I don't see why you can't do both in one day. Why can't rowing and wading work together to accomplish a common goal? Like getting out to an island or something. Row until the water is shallow enough, then drop anchor and wade the rest of the way.
