I'm not sure why someone else hasn't come up with this idea before now, but here it is:

Myself, along with BDH and Orgazmo have conjured what will hopefully turn into an annual tournament for Nubblites.

The goal of this touranment is to parallel the actual WSOP as much as possible (yes, that includes a seemingly steep buy-in). Due to the fact that the buyin may seem a bit rough for some. We might have some satelitte touranments at BDH's house the days/hours before the Big One that would merit you free entrance into the Big One.

The following are some of the requirements/details

To play in the tournament, you must have one ID that you disclose upon registration for the tournament. This will be the ID that gets the Golden N if you win the tournament (ah yes, winner gets a Trophy and an N). Most of the organizers know who everyone is, so this shouldn't be much of a problem.
Buy-In: $50
The Game: The best game; No Limit Texas Hold'em Poker
Blinds: Blinds will likely be raised once every hour. This may seem like a long time between raises, but it's 2 hours at the real WSOP.
Date/Time: The 1st Annual Nubblies World Series of Poker will be on Saturday May 22nd at High Noon. Registration/Seating will start at 11:00. The touranment will start exactly at Noon. If you haven't registered by then, you won't be in the tournament. (I, for one, don't see any reason why you couldn't register a few days before or whatever, provided you don't think you will be making it right away at Noon, and thus want to post/fold for the first few hours).
Location: BDH's house will be where this tournament takes place. This is subject to change if a more desirable location comes about.
We will pay roughly 25% of the entries (ie: if 15 people enter, Top 4 walk away with prize money).
We'll try to have an organized 5 minute break every couple of hours.
The final table will consist of the last 6 remaining players (unless the number of entires exceeds 25 or so, then we may go final 9 players).
Things such as blinds/seating arrangements/breaks will be decided after all players have registered.
