Here is a pretty interesting article on Tarantino's future. It lays out the ideas for his next few movies, including a double-feature with Robert Rodriguez.
"[The third Kill Bill] follows the story of the Bride's daughter, B.B. when she becomes an adult and confronts the violence that surrounded her youth." He wants to wait about 10 years for Uma to get a little older. I would have to imagine that it would also involve Vivika A. Fox's daughter. Vega Brothers also sounds good, teaming Vincent Vega (from Pulp Fiction) with his brother Vic Vega (played by Michael Madsen in Reservoir Dogs) for a prequel type deal. |

Psychedelics are illegal not because a loving government is concerned that you may jump out of a third story window. Psychedelics are illegal because they dissolve opinion structures and culturally laid down models of behavior and information processing.

Tarantino is overrated. People worship him like a god, but really what he's done is make an excellent low-budget film (Reservoir Dogs), the best film of all time (Pulp Fiction - one hit wonder), and proved to the world that no matter what his budget or status may be, he cannot repeat or even come close to the quality of work he's produced in the past.
Kill Bill v 1-2 are a joke. It's what you get when you spend millions after a director has been given cult status. He could have filmed a movie about gangsters who take shits and people would be like "OMG Tarantino is a cinematic genius." Anybody else could have directed the exact same film and it would be nothing special. And to make things worse, Tarantino whores out his name to films like that obscure japanese film he actually didn't direct - and to Sin City, which he had very little real involvement in. I wish he would have stopped with Pulp Fiction. [ October 02, 2005, 10:28 PM: Message edited by: DJ FC ] |

That whole movie was pretty good. The first scene was definitely the weakest though.
