My sister works summers at general motors, its a college program to help college students pay for college. She works afternoons, and generally after work will go to the bar with some friends at like 3 AM.
Well friday night, her last night working, she went to the bar as usually. Only this time her car was broken into. The robber smashed her driver side window of her 2002 sunfire and stole her purse which was sitting on the drivers seat, w/ all her money and credit cards. Its obviously her own fault for not locking it up in the trunk at least... sucks for her. |

Ya my friends get pissed off because of my locking my car habit... Ill go to there house, even tho we are just going to be in and out, and I still lock the car. Regardless though, my sister put her purse right on the driver seat, so locking the door wouldn't of mattered. Im sure if she just put it under teh seat, in the trunk, etc, none of it would have happened.

Yep, figured there wouldnt be a whole lot of response, but its news. My sister borrowed my car for the rest of the weekend then, im surprised she put gas back in...Hell she even gave me an extra quarter of a tank. So whatever, it all works out for me. Gas prices are ridiculous in michigan, I dont know about you guys. We have been around 1.85 for awhile now, it really sucks.

I don't make it a point to lock my car unless I'm in a really bad area. I figure that if someone really wants my cd player or something bad enough to get in my car, they probably want it bad enough to break a window to get it. and I paid $1.63 for gas today.
