Over 700 people died in the US border city last year in an ongoing drugs war.

The Mexican army says it believes Mr Meza's claims are true.

"They brought me the bodies and I just got rid of them," Mr Meza told journalists at a construction site where he disposed of the bodies over a 10-year period. "I didn't feel anything."

The 300 corpses were said to belong to murdered rivals of Mexican drug kingpin Teodoro Garcia Simental, who is battling for control over drug trafficking routes through Tijuana, after defecting from the powerful Arellano Felix cartel.

Also on Friday, two human heads were found inside coolers near police stations in the central Guanajuato state, officials said. The heads were accompanied by a note threatening allies of the "La Familia" drug cartel.

I almost don't believe it... $600 a week? Thats a fucking steal.

You get a lot more for your $ in Mexico. 600 bucks a week tax free would be a nice little bonus of about 30K a year. Especially since most Mexicans that work in factories and whatnot work 10-12 hour days for $60/week.

Not all that surprising when you get past the sheer number; Mexican gangs, especially Mexican nationals are pretty much the scariest thing an american can see in my experience.

This.

Particularly the violence amongst the cartels is increasing steadily. Starting to see a lot more drug smugglers becoming heavily armed as well. And by heavily armed I'm talking automatic weapons, grendades, and rpgs.

Luckily these are more toward Cali at the moment. Smugglers in our area are pretty non-violent for the most part.

I've also seen some pretty fucked up intel vids and mexican news briefs of things that happen regularly on the South Side.

Although we've been getting drugs pretty much every day for the past couple months, its just a bonus.

Imagine how many good police jobs could be created if we weren't wasting $600 per SECOND on fighting the "war on drugs" and instead directed those funds towards preventing violent crime.

End the war on prostitution as well, and we might have enough money to actually solve more than 60% of murders in this country, let alone all of the other crime.

I just like working drug traffic because its a lot more exciting.

I actually have no problem with people doing drugs.

Silly f3lix. Once the gov. has your money they'll never, ever give it back. Hell, they're very content even spending money you haven't paid yet.

You're right. That $600 was "getting our money back" especially for the people who didn't pay any federal tax that year. And it's totally not a loan, since we'll never ever have to pay it back, right? That debt will just magically fix itself. Taxes will never go up to compensate for that huge debt.

I figured there were SOME people out there who bought into the "tax rebate" aspect of that particular bribe by the government. I guess I've finally met one.

But we'll have to be taxed an ADDITIONAL $600 to make up for the $600 that was given to us. That was extra debt added that will just have to be paid back. Our money wasn't returned. It was loaned back to us for a while because it was added to a large debt that must be repaid.

Not to mention that not all of us even got that money back, since those who pay the most in taxes (top quarter of wage earners) didn't get the payment.

I can fully admit when I'm wrong, but you bleating about it doesn't actually MAKE me wrong.

so if we weren't taxed the 600 in the first place we would have had to be taxed an additional 600? So I guess if the government doesn't tax us 1 million next fiscal year we will have to be taxed an additional 1 million later? Are all taxes we pay paying back abstract loans that the government gave us?

Let me snuff your sophism by reiterating that the tax rebate was not a loan. You never have to pay a cent back. After I received my check I could never make any income again and never have to pay a cent to the federal government ever again, or go make a living in another country.

Maybe you are just unfamiliar with what a loan is?
