I miss the old Nubblies.
I miss the old Nubblies where people on here didn't care so damn much about what others think of them (you know who you are). If you'd just relax, and be yourself, people will probably like you a lot more. I miss the old Nubblies where on any given night, 10 of us would be going back and forth in one single thread either arguing, or simply shooting the shit. Now, we have all these worthless threads that are tough to sift through, full of needless comments made by insecure newbies. I miss the old Nubblies because Titan was on the old Nubblies. I miss the old Nubblies where sometimes, I actually had to edit someone's post!! *Gasp* I miss the old Nubblies where when a new member showed up, they actually stayed around for a while. I miss the old Nubblies where when a new member would show up, half of us would be ICQing each other trying to figure out who they are in real life. I miss the old Nubblies where there was decent shit-talking, respectable controversy, and members with a pair between their legs. I miss the old Nubblies where people didn't have to try so hard. I miss the old Nubblies where there were only 1-2 new threads started each day, and they all usually kicked ass. I miss the old Nubblies where someone would get the shit congratulated out of them when they reached 100 posts. I miss the old Nubblies where members actually made sensible and frequent efforts to get new members to come to this site. Now no one seems to personally go out of their way to get someone to come on here, myself included. Those flyers you guys hang up at school though sure are swell. (Not really). I miss the old Nubblies where we all made fun of each other, and (most of us) didn't get so damn bent out of shape about it. God the shit-talking has gone way down hill... I miss the old Nubblies. -Ugly Bastard |

Yeah i would have to agree with that. I mean i haven't posted alot lately but i remember when I got put into prison me and somebody got into it and it was all fun and shit and now it seems nobody is willing to say they are right and back it up. Now they are like well maybe i'm wrong i mean come on pussy's.
I'm telling you right now if you say something to somebody on here they won't be mad at you that is what nubblies.com was made for. The address has changed but that dosen't mean everything else has to but seemed like it did. People just need to stop saying what people want them to say and get some fucking balls and say stupid shit!!! Make it fun again damnit!!! [ May 01, 2004, 09:02 PM: Message edited by: Demitri ] |

I, too, miss the old nubblies...
I wasn't in on it too much, but I do quite remember when there was hardly any activity on here, but the posts that were made were made by the Nubblites, aka the actually interesting and intellectual people. I miss it. Nowadays, we have all these new people... these new punks... these new emo kids... who are just... I don't know. I suppose this is what you wanted in the first place though, isn't it? You always wanted this to be a place for uh kiddos to gripe about life, and discuss certain things that we could all relate to. I like the new nubblies, as there are many more things to read. I miss the old nubblies, with it's closeness and eliteness. *sigh* |

I miss the old days when Demitri was a fucking queer that everyone hated so much that Demitri just left. I clearly remember that said member saying that they weren't ever going to come back because they didn't need Nubblies if if was going to be nothing but shit-talking towards them. Oh, how the times have changed, when faggots come back. | |

I agree with Ugly, I was gone for a while and looked forward to seeing what's been going on here in my absense. Nothing of interest has happened or been posted. I really hope I just missed something or this site is getting really lame.

I hope that by Titan, you meant me too.
I know you didn't, but what the hell. I'm just saying. Anyway, I have to say, I really really miss the old Nubblies. So much that there really is no reason for me to check this site daily, as there is nothing of value or interest. I hardly see the mystique and wonder that the old Nubblies used to instill in me. I really don't think that's ever going to be brought back. |

Alright, I have to get this off my chest. To anyone and everyone with this bullshit negative attitude: kiss my mother fucking ass. This notion of an old and new nubblies is simply bullshit. Nubblies is Nubblies. It always has and always will be. Members may come and go. Quality may increase or decrase, but Nubblies will always be great. Personally, it saddens me more than a little bit when I see some great members speaking such bullshit. It also pisses me off more than a little bit that some of the best members are no longer dedicated to making this board any better. Sure, a break from Nubblies is good every now and then, but when someone doesn't log on for months at a time, that's more like abandonment than it is a break.
Oh, and Chuck, I'd like to see you start posting again. [ May 09, 2004, 06:58 PM: Message edited by: Dirty Harry ] |

Dirty Harry for mnother fucking president I couldn't agree more.
The ones that are sitting here bitching about how they miss "the old nubblies" are the ones that wanted to "promote and take nubblies to the next step." Well now nubblies is more statewide and less completely local and all you do is bitch? If you want to see nubblies at what it "used to be" then get off your ass and make it that way. |

I haven't posted on nubblies for a few months now, basically because I've never really
had anything good (or anything period) to say. Now that I've come back for a visit, it just seems like the same nubblies, except with new/young members, shitty useless threads that have multiplied by the dozen, and those of which seem to just so conveniently strike me with no interest. Has nubblies gone downhill from here? In my opinion (which really makes no difference) yes. [ May 09, 2004, 11:34 PM: Message edited by: long-since-forgotten ] |

I miss the old Nubblies where when 5 new members signed up it didn't seem like one member regurgitated 5 times. I miss the old Nubblies when members had personality.
I miss the old Nubblies where if newbies didn't have a good topic to start, they wouldn't start one. I miss the old Nubblies when Pliedes wasn't making 5 new topics a day. I miss the old Nubblies where not every single fucking topic ended up in a religious or philisophical debate. I miss the old Nubblies when there was quality of members instead of quantity. For those of you here that are bitching about the way things are, remember that you let them get that way. Thats like moving away from your home town after college for a couple of years, and then moving back and bitching about all that has changed.
Maybe if some of you hadn't left, nubblies might still have its "old-fashioned" appeal. I joined nubblies at the brink of its new era, right before its member count started growing at a grueling rate. Then, nubblies was a place where people from one highschool gathered to talk about common happenings from Warsaw, Indiana. That made things more personal. After graduating and going to IU, nubblies became a link for me between home and college. For me, that's the only thing that has changed about this place. New members from the same highschool and then some. Some of those members are complete bitches, and do nothing else for nubblies but contribute to the worthless banter that I have learned to ignore. Others have been a great enjoyment lately and have earned my respect. I look at this place like my own community in which I have grown up. People I may not like join, but there's nothing else to do other than tolerate them. I say we look towards the future and at what nubblies has become rather than look towards the past and look at what it has lost. We now have countless games that are played around the clock, an amassment of forums that suit any mood, and plenty of great reads for those who are just wasting some time. I congragulate Orgazmo and all of mods for the work they have done to keep nubblies running. God bless all of you. |

Nubblies has gotten too bloody boring lately. Given, I'm not an old old member, but I've been around long enough to remember how I used to actually look forward to logging on to nubblies everyday. Now I just stop by for about 1-2 minutes every couple of day to check out the new pile of shit threads that have been started. Oh well, I don't rightly care.

i've actually gotten bored, really. there's not a whole lot i want to post about anymore.. this is sad, considering that it seems as though a good amount of new threads lately have contained shit-talking towards myself
i'm assuming that the lack of interesting and worthwhile activity is because all of the college nubblites are back in town, and just going on break, catching up with friends and whatnot. i've seen a few of you around town, actually. it's strange. anywho. not that i'm wise about this sort of thing, but one can only assume that it will pick back up after the summer, when people aren't out enjoying the weather and time off. until then.... i'm bored as fuck. |

Except all 3 of us are from ball state...and UB too...anybody sensing a pattern? Sorry guys, but i'd much rather be out getting drunk and hopelessly hitting on chicks than post on nubblies. 'Gaz, i dont how much you partied frosh year, but that was by far the best year for parties here...ever since police yourself this campus has been fucking gay as shit. Everybody's scared to do shit anymore...its ridiculous...personally I have less then 2 months till i turn 21...and after that its game over...I know i'm off the subject but i've been drinking and it seemed like a good time to bitch about how much BSU has been sucking a fat frog cock.
