Margot and the Nuclear So & So's - Broad Ripple Is Burning

This is a band from Indy for those of you who don't already know, and they're starting to get mainstream. This is a song from their new album, but it was actually one of their first ones ever made. Check it out; pretty legit song but I can't find a link to it anywhere.

are you like getting paid to push that site or what?

Orgazmo 11-19-2008 12:04 PM

It's just the easiest way to find music, ID. Googling "Imeem bandname" will almost undoubtedly yield that band's music.

I didn't know these guys were from Indy. They've been getting airtime on a couple of XM stations for 2 years or so.

Fingathing

Their myspace says they are electronica/hiphop/funk. I'd say thats about spot-on. I really like their song "When Things Catch Up" as well as "Walk In Space". The rest of the tracks are pretty solid as well. I did a quick look and couldnt find any torrentsof these guys. If anyone can help me find some of their music I'd appreciate it.

The Foxes - Trauma Town

The Metros - Talk About It

Mr. Blonde 11-23-2008 01:22 AM

Wow I can't believe this hasn't been recommended...from their 1999 album, Stunt, I give you probably one of the best upbeat songs about alcohol of all time...

Barenaked Ladies - Alcohol

Heaven Can Wait 11-26-2008 08:06 PM

TI's new album Paper Trail

MySpace.com - P.D.A. - Tulsa, Oklahoma - Pop / Alternative / Hip Hop - www.myspace.com/pdaonline

Hip-hop group this bitch linked me to. Check out their shit with a lot of plays. I'm a fan.

Lovedrug - Panicked Witness

Creepy. This particular song is what I would imagine while walking through a dark, surreal forest all by yourself in some fiction book.

A wicked site I found for checking out random songs without downloading is:

Mix Turtle - The Music Search Engine

It's a really simple interface unlike most sites that have anything to do with the words "free" and "music."

THEINCREDIBLEdork 12-11-2008 08:05 PM

Agreed. You guys (Blonde) listen to some pretty emotastic stuff. What size of woman's jeans do you wear when you are cutting yourself?

Heaven Can Wait 12-13-2008 07:58 AM
