So Time has these polls that they post about American opinion. The results are sometimes interesting.

For example, they recently asked who the most trusted news person is now that Cronkite is dead. The results: (Link)

Interesting, eh? Ya, I don't give a shit.

What I do give a shit about is a noticeable theme when clicking through the previous polls. Do you see that state up top that sticks out a little bit? The only one that supported Katie Couric? It turns out they have an interesting viewpoint on things in relation to the rest of the states. After clicking through 10 or so previous polls, here are a few that emphasize this:

So...wtf is up with Iowa? Intentional fucking? Or truly backward-ass thinking?

And, upon further investigation, on the polls where Iowa is fucked with, they register about 20x the number of votes as the polls where they fall in line with the rest of the country.
