Where to start?

First off, some of you are going to love this movie (like me). Others of you are going to hate this movie.

If you're looking for an all out, balls to the walls, bloodbath, then you, my friend, will be dissapointed. Kill Bill Volume 2 is a great movie, but for different reasons than the first. The characters and story get fleshed out a lot more than in the first movie. You can actually begin to feel what makes the characters tick. You begin to truly and honestly hate Bill and Darryl Hannah's character, Elle Driver. On the other end of the spectrum, I actually felt sadness and compassion for Buck (Michael Madsen).

Kill Bill V.2 has amazing (IMHO) performances from David Carradine and Michael Madsen, either of which being worthy of a best supporting actor nomination.

In short, get psyched for this movie, bitches. It's too good for you.

Yes, this movie definitely makes you appreciate the first volume. I also liked it a lot more than the first. I love how Tarantino just puts in little shit from his other movies that only true fans will notice (ex. Uma crossing feet "Lets go" Pulp fiction style). However Elegy, the movie may make you hate Elle Driver, and I also felt bad for Budd at certain points, but in regard to hating Bill, i dont think the same. Although he did "overreact", it was mainly just an expression of hurt and love...out of all the characters, just by the way he presented himself, he was my favorite.

But if you like Tarantino at all...pretty please, with sugar on top, watch the fuckin' movie.

The movie kicked ass. It was incredible. As for Bill, I have a tendancy to agree with Blonde on this one. Aside from *beep (the Bride is all I'll say) he was my favorite character. It sucks that I can't go into detail here, I really want to use specifics, but let's just say the movie rocked.

I can't believe this movie didn't make you guys hate Bill, but to each his own, I suppose.

Personally, I think Bill borders on a human snake.

In terms of "Tarantino Style" movies, Volume II was much more reminiscent of the Quentin movies that many love. K.B. II definitely went more in-depth with characters, and that is what makes these movies great, not the gross amounts of Asian blood that is spilled. As for Bill, I don't hate him because 1.) He is a badass and 2.) He seemed to take on a kind of father figure relationship to *Beep (Uma Thurman), that is, of course, before he shot her in the head....I will agree with Blonde on feeling sorry for Budd. I think he should have taken his "priceless" sword back to the strip club he worked at and engraved a Zorro style Z in the chest of the coked out Club Owner that was giving him shit. Overall, this movie is worthy of my $6 at the theater, and the dollar it will cost me to pay for the blank DVD to illegally burn it.

Bill couldn't have explained himself better than when he said "There are consequences to breaking the heart of a murdering bastard. You experienced some of them." After that I understood why he did what he did, I mean c'mon, what did she expect? I found Bill to be an incredibly sympathetic character, which is weird cause I assumed I would hate him more than I've ever hated a movie villian. Cheers to Tarantino for fucking with my expectations.
