Well kids, it's time for another "retarded" Preview Review. Today I will be Preview Reviewing a few upcoming movies; Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Bad Boys 2, and Tomb Raider 2: The Cradle of Life.

*Warning* This review is based souly on television and movie previews, and or downloaded clips, or movie scenes shown during late night talk shows (i.e. Leno, Letterman, Conan, etc...).

With that in mind, let's get the ball rolling on this emotion inducing journey through 4 movie Preview Reviews.

Movie #1 Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle.
I've got high hopes for this movie, I really do. I somewhat enjoyed the first installment of Charlie's Angels, I've seen it a couple of times. The first was a bit cheesy with the action sequences and Matrix-style fighting but it was still a somewhat catchy movie. The second looks as if it might have the potential to follow in the first's footsteps. However, it will probably be cheesier than the first. Much more show and glamour than the original, but I can't complain, I don't mind seeing Cameron Diaz glamourized and dressed-up oh so fine. Besides the eye candy, this movie has a few new actors/actresses in it. Sadly, Bill Murray declined to be in the sequel, and he has been replaced by another rather humorous individual by the name of Bernie Mac. I like Bernie Mac, he's a funny guy, but I don't think that he was the right choice to take over the role of Bosley. The first movie had a white guy (Bill Murray) playing Bosley, the second has a black guy. How the heck did Bosley do that? A Michael Jackson reverse it seems. I don't mind though (see eye candy statement). I am a fan of old school television, and I still believe that neither of these movies will do the original show justice, but the second will be a good movie to rent if you're planning on watching it with your girlfriend, just in case it sucks, you can make out the entire time, if you don't already. So, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, gets a whopping 31/2 stars out of 5.

Movie #2 Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines
I would have to say that the first two movies of this trilogy are classics, everyone should see terminator one and two just to say that they have at some point or another. The new terminator movie, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, looks like it should fit in just fine. With a welcome change of pace by having a female play the enemy role, this movie looks to have all the effects and thrills that made the first two so cool. These movies are the only movies that can successfully cast Arnold Schwarzenegger. Yes, there are other movies with him in it, and no, not many were worth watching, I can only think of one, but that's a diferent review. The third terminator movie not only features a new person as the villain, but also a new person behind the scenes also. Jonathan Mostow has replaced James Cameron as the director for this third one (yes kids, I actually pay attention to directors). even though it's big shoes to fill, I believe that he will do just fine. Mostow was the director for the movie U-571, so don't worry about explosions, there should be plenty of action in this one. Also, John Connor's character has been recast to fit the role, for this movie takes place something like ten years after the events in the second movie, so they needed to cast a better-fitting actor to fill the shoes of that young boy that once ran from many a terminator. Even though there are some noticable changes in this movie, and the fact that it's been over twelve years since the last terminator movie, this movie should do just fine as to continue on with the terminator tradition. So Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines gets 4 stars out of 5, for nastalgic quality and fun explosions.

Movie #3 Bad Boys 2
Seems like a few people didn't want to get left behind in the sequel trend in this case. No worries however, because this movie will probably be a fun one to watch, just like the first. Martin Lawrence is hilarious in most movies he plays in, so this should be no exception. The first Bad Boys movie was a good movie. I had low expectations for the first and it surprised me when I first sat down and watched it (like 3 months ago) even though it was made in 1995. This movie has everybody returning from the original, in front of and behind the camera. I was very pleased to find out that Jerry Bruckheimer had stayed on board to produce the second movie. I don't know much about the director, Michael Bay, though, besides for the fact that he directed the first Bad Boys movie. This movie should be a good movie. I'd probably just call it a rental movie though, this movie gets 4 hopefully well deserved stars.

Movie #4 Tomb Raider 2: The Cradle of Life
Well, it's about time that I get to see Angelina Jolie back in action. I just hope that she was able to get that dreaded Billy Bob tatoo removed off of her arm (they got divorced for those of you who don't know). Where was I..yes, that's right, my Preview Review.. okay, just to recap, Angelina Jolie, that should be about enough for most of you, but for those of you for whom that is not enough, I'll review the movie. this movie has a new director as is the trend in a lot of these sequels. This movie features Jan de Bont instead of Simon West in the directors healm. If I'm not mistaken, de Bont directed The Haunting a few years back. So let's just hope he steps it up a bit for this movie, or at least enough to show plenty of Angelina. The first movie didn't have the best plot, but it did have miniscule plot enough to at least keep avid movie goers and video gamers alike appeased enough to appreciate the movie a little bit, which I believe was the goal. Do the video game justice, but still have some sort of plot. This movie will probably be just like that, but with a bathing suit or two, because this movie has a water theme. Pandora's box is the prize of this new movie. This movie will be one to rent for your little brothers' adventuristic natures, and for those of you males that like some good curves in your action movies. Tomb Raider 2: The Cradle of Life is a 3 star movie.

Well then, that's it for the latest Preview Review, if any of you actually read it, please come back if any of you do end up seeing these movies. I would like to know if my predictions are right or wrong. I've heard both good and bad as far as the Hulk go, so just let me know, unless you're too "retarded" to really understand that yes, I indeed do believe that I can do a review of a movie based souly on previews. Wait a minute, I just did a few preview based reviews, well I'll be. So in short, I hope you all have learned something from this latest installment of the one and only PREVIEW Review.
