IU PURDUE GAME

Basically whatever vol starts i refuse to look at anymore since his bashing of my colts.

With IU's schedule it is a very realistic possibility for them to finish 12-4 in the Big10. That would put them at 18-9 going into the Big10 tournament and more than likely land them a 2 or 3 seed for the tournament. If they win 2 rounds and go 20-10 they would easily get a 5 seed in the NCAA tournament.

This will go down as one of Mike Davis's better coaching jobs in the Big10.

Both teams played horribly. It was a terrible performance by both teams. Although i did like the intensity of this game. If not for the injury of kennith lowe, purdue would have beat the shit out of IU. But if bracey wright would have had a good game, then IU would have beat the shit out of purdue.

Hopefully the next game they play both teams will show up mentally prepared. I have a feeling the next game will be the shit.

I have to tip my hat to IU for their win.

Quite possibly the worst write up of a game I've ever read. IU's offense in the first half was executed so cleanly that they jumped out to a 13 point lead. Both teams we're playing extremely good defense and with tons of intensity. Both teams also shot over 40% from the field and combined for 15 TO's(7 for IU and 8 for PU). That showed how mentally prepared both squads were.

Bracey played a great game despite his shooting. He had 10 pts. 8 rebs. 4 asts. 1 Block and 1 TO. That's a helluva stat line to help out teammates. Kenneth Lowe went out with 15 min. left and his prescense obviously didn't make that much of a difference (IU wasn't down when he was in) so I don't see how you can say that.

You're a fucking idiot Tig', that was so damn bad I don't think I'll read another post of yours on Nubblies. I hate people who post shit that is so far fetched I have to a double take when I read it. God damn...

Exactly.

Elegy has quite the point there... granted IU is turning around... but the Big Ten sucks ass this year, so being number 1 in the Big Ten (while nice) isnt that much of an accomplishment.

Winning any conference is a big accomplishment...no matter how much the big 10 is down it is still about the 3rd or 4th best conference in the nation....that isnt anything to shake a stick at...If IU does what Bigdong said...they will get a decent seed in the tourney...and last time i check...last years national champion was a number 5 seed...GO HOOSIERS!!!

Both of you are honestly fucking idiots I'm serious. IU went 20-11 2 years ago and got a 5 seed. I said if they go 20-10 and finish 12-4 in the Big 10 they would get a 5 seed. That's not the slightest bit far fetched and is pretty fucking realistic. IU is projected as an 8 seed in the latest Brakcetology on ESPN and that's without the win over Purdue.

Why don't you guys back up some shit before you start criticizing because I guran-fucking-tee you my knowledge of IU basketball and college basketball for that matter, is about 30 times beyond you.

Hell no I won't take that bet, did you read my goddamn post? I said if IU goes 20-10 then I see them getting a 5 seed. If you honestly want to know how I think we'll end up it'll be 11-5 in the Big10 and 19-11 overall. I think that would put us at a 6 or 7 seed. I'll put 10 dollars that says they get a 7 seed or better though.

IU will do well. Look at the facts: The Big Ten is not a weak conference. They had convincing wins against Northwestern, Ohio State, and Purdue. And squeakers against tough Minnesota and Michigan. With their only loss so far coming against Wisconsin. They will continue on the path because I see noone better than them in the Big Ten this year. I do see them beating Wisconsin the second time around and losing to Michigan, you hate to say it. Michigan will control the Hoosiers. So they should be safe in the conference.

As for the rest of the season and postseason:
Indiana is outscoring their opponents in the first half 523 to 493. That constitutes their ability to start strong but show fatigue. I will bet that if Mike Davis gets them to a 5 seed (which in fact will happen) he will need to condition them a little better ot teach them more ball control in the second half. They will make sweet 16, or at least they should. And by the way, GET THE BALL TO BRACEY . With his 19.9 points per game and 98 total rebounds, he needs to touch the ball often.

I did mean what I said about the Big Ten underachieving this year (and IU is no longer ontop the Big Ten, Wisconsin is now 5-1 in the Big Ten, and has a better record.)
