I just got off the phone with f3lix. He has $5,000 on the ML, and a total of $6,500 on the game.
We initially planned to watch the Super Bowl together, but the fact that both of us have interests of several thousand dollars pitted against each other... yea it might be sorta a tense atmosphere if we were in the same room. Which... hmm... the more I think about it, the more that sounds really fun. Winning $7k + Basking in f3lix's huge loss > Winning $7k Too bad the Giants are going to get killed. |

![]() The basis of our governments being the opinion of the people, the very first object should be to keep that right; and were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers, or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter. But I should mean that every man should receive those papers and be capable of reading them. ![]() |

[i mean this from the bottom of my heart: f3lix, it's not personal at all, i hope yo know that]
FUCK THE PATRIOTS! I could not be happier about how tonight went. Fuck the New England Patriots. They have a snake of a fucking coach who lives in a league that has ZERO financial incentive to prosecute him for being a fucking cheater. I have absolutely ZERO sympathy for the Patriots or any of their fans who had no money on them. In fact... I actually respect f3lix for having the nuts to bet big on an unethical team before blindly rooting for them like a dumbass like VOL would have. Ship the $7,000. I'm going to get more drunk. |

I had too much financial interest in the game to be able to know for sure how I would feel as an unbiased, but interested observer; but as best I could tell, I too have to say that was one of the best games I've ever seen in my life.

I do not like discussing my financial figures. This year was just awful in every aspect for nfl football. Lost season win totals, way too many game bets, and got crushed on the super bowl. Nothing could go right all season.
Most of what I do if follow what the pro betters do and the sharps got killed this year. I fell with them. Thank God for the never-ending poker games. :-) |
