That sounds like a terrible solution. Why did they take the initial bet if it was obviously a sucker's bet? Are they suckers? Do you teach suckers not to be suckers by letting them off the hook? Or do you hold their feet to the god damned flame?
Letting them off like this isn't teaching them anything. Let's say the next sucker bet they book is with a guy who isn't so kind. The kind of guy who breaks legs and rapes girlfriends. Now that's partially on you for not teaching them a lesson with this incident. |
