A Clockwork Orange - Fucking amazing movie by one of the greatest and most influential directors ever, Stanley Kubrick. It was made in 1971 by Kubrick, but was actually based on the 1962 novel by Anthony Burgess. It was a vision of what Burgess felt the world was going to be, all the while playing out a kind of morality tale...

Just a sidenote, it was originally rated X when it came out. It was also withdrawn from circulation by Kubrick himself just a year after it was released in Britain because of the copy-cat violence that it was blamed for.

"Being the adventures of a young man whose principle interests include rape, ultra-violence and Beethoven."
