I might have to take you on that offer UB. I think pizza is the best food that has ever grazed my taste buds. I love trying new pizza. Pizza is wonderful because there is so many ways to make it, kinda like chili (also an amazing food).
My list would go as following:
1. Vesuvio's Pizza - A pizza branch located mainly in Michigan and far northern Indiana. I've been lucky enough to have a dad that lives in Elkhart where there are 2 Vesuivio's pizzarias. The only words I can find to describe this pizza would be godly and immaculate. If you ever find yourself 20 miles out of Elkhart and could go for some pizza, it's well worth the drive, and if you don't agree, i will give you the gas money you wasted, (which will never be a needed favor, as you will realize this is the best pizza ever).
2. Pizza Hut - Everyone likes it... I LOVE it. Pizza Hut has the best crust out of any pizza place and the toppings/sauce are amazing as well.
3. Little Ceasar's - This pizza used to be a staple in my household until it was sadly taken away from us. I also find myself visiting K-Mart to get a pizza slice or two every now and then.
4. Pizza King and Domino's - These are both in my average area. They both have good pizza, but nothing that makes me splooge like 1-3 do. Pizza King's pepperoni pizza with barbeque sauce is delicious, not to mention their breadsticks and cheese sauce. Domino's can be really good but is just one of those pizzas I only feel like eating 2 or 3 times a year.
5. Papa John's - A year ago if this same question would have been posed to me PJ's would have been at least 3rd on my list, but I've had it way to much since then and have lost my excitment for it. I only eat it when really hungry or when they have (the only redeeming factor for them anymore) great deals.
6. Gambie's and Fat Boy's Pizza - Both are horrible... Warsaw can not produce a family owned pizzaria for the life of it. Goshen, Elkhart, South Bend, and Fort Wayne all have independently owned pizza places worthy of being on this list. Neither of these places should have money wasted on them, even if you're starving, especially Gambie's, if you are going to eat pizza at Gambie's do yourself a favor and walk across the street to Speedway and buy some cheetos and a mountain dew slurpee.
