At dinner with a group of people, the check is consolidated. Before payment is rendered, a credit card is submitted to a pile for each participant. One credit card is chosen at random (normally by the server or a non participant) and is used to pay the bill.

This is usually the only way I ever settle a tab unless I'm on a date or out with some nit. And Blonde, I put in two cards (one for me and my gf), Orgazmo put in two (same reason) and DDT put in one.

The game can get ultra crazy if it is declared before ordering and every person puts in one card. Tab gets run up to stupid levels.

In college this was incredibly standard amongst my poker buddies.

I'll do it occasionally with my main group of friends, but, just taking turns on "i got it" is pretty standard now.

I had already eaten 8 wild wings, 8 hot bbq wings and 2 blazin wings (boneless, of course.) I had been tearing up on the blazin wings when Gaz thought it'd be a great idea to videotape, so I gave it a good healthy soak of sauce and threw down.

I would like to note that DDT would not partake with Gaz and me in the blazin wings.
