They do, my do they.
The roads are also horrid right now, and it is still snowing. Yes, I must say I am liking the cut of this jig. Quite a bit, indeed. This almost makes getting drug tested today--the second time this year, when I don't hardly ever even get to drive to school--worth it. No, it doesn't, that just sucks... But, whoo! I give sleeping in an A+. [This webpage shall be the subject of much refreshing tonight... So, apparently something to this affect has been posted in rants... humbug.] [ January 05, 2004, 10:35 PM: Message edited by: rla128 ] |

Alas, via college, the word "snow" no longer has such a positive connation. Now all it means is "Yay, I get to trudge through the snow during a fun and cold 15 minute walk to class!"

Dirty, I had the same problem in the past. Take a safety pin and about six inches up the back pant leg, move the material up a bit and pin it into place. Do it just enough to keep your pants clear of dragging on the ground. Yeah...
That is one drawback to college is no delays... they'd never cancel high school if you lived there. |

RLA, that's neat that school was cancelled today for you. It just sucks that when school isn't cancelled, you're sitting there for 7 hours, while most of us are "in school" for about 2 hours everyday.

UB, it is neet that school was cancelled for me today! You are right about you college kids not having school for seven hours a day. It is also true, however, that you once did sit through the same boring monotonous ritual that is high school. Furthermore, it is also true that after another year of this, I will also be in your position. So, yeah. Yeah... definately yeah.
I make so much sense, but that doesn't change the fact that I have about 80 weeks of high school left. Mwuhahaha... to me... or something... Right. -rla |

Yeah, 2 days in a row was even better... and since it's still snowing up here (lake effect) and the roads are terrible as is... I'm thinking we may go 3 (and we already have a delay).

By the way my college sucks on their policies of snow. It is a commuter campus until the Fall of 2004. They don't cancel classes unless Allen County declares a snow emergency. | |
